Grandma’s Garden, 1987

I make cards because the idea of a 12×12 layout scares me. But every once in a while, I will have a photo that I would like to scrap. Like this one I found in my mother’s photo stash. It reminds me of the good times at Grandma’s. So I scanned it, printed out a copy and made a 6×6 photo frame with some paper :) It is now sitting on my bookshelf:) What? You’ve seen this photo?Hmmm… ;)

I tried a new die cutting technique this time: layering patterned paper and then die cut :) So all the scalloped borders will match and the beautiful flower border can wrap around the envelope :)

Tucked in some journaling and I was done!

This is so creative. I have never seen anyone do this before and I see alot of blogs. Fun ideas and I finally have one of the sets that someone is using.
