Are you ever uncertain what to do with those tiny image stamps that are often included in stamp sets? This tutorial will give you one idea that I think is pretty fun. I used the small heart image (along with a few other stamps) from the DT Mix Stamp Set to build some letters for the valentine’s sentiment “LOVE.” It’s a really simple way to get more mileage out of your stamp sets and also creates a great design element on your paper crafts. Let’s take a look! Watch the video below or in HD on YouTube Here is a closeup photo for you: ____ So clever, Sabrina!!! We especially love that you created the ombre look with just one ink pad! Take a Challenge with Kim Kesti

Hello everyone! Kim Kesti is here with a card made for our current Waffle Flower Challenge! Kim says, While I love everything about this month’s Photo Inspiration, it was really the colors that I decided to focus on. This trendy mix of colors is not one that I would normally put together, but hey! I guess that is why this is called a challenge, right? The avocado green color immediately brought to mind our new Potted Stamp Set, so cute! After coloring the succulents, it was easy to add in the warm rose color in the title and cacti flower and accent the set with a dash of pretty blue and purple. This is my first attempt at tackling the “multiple layered die cut” effect on my title and I love how it turned out! Not to mention that the Perfect Word Die is, um, pretty perfect! Thanks for taking […]

Five for Friday – A Growing Trend – Katie Gehring

Hello and Happy Friday! Katie here to talk about a “growing” trend… succulents! Have you noticed that stylish succulents are popping up all over the place?  Besides being the perfect foil for the somewhat forgetful gardner, these easy-care plants are blooming all over. For example: In weddings Source In mass plantings Source In a table top terrarium Source As a welcoming wreath Source As a thoughtful gift or a party favor Source My Card Even if your green thumb is the result of ink as opposed to horticultural talent, you can cultivate a little succulent love with the Potted Stamp Set and the Planted Stamp Set. I stamped the containers and plants from the Planted Stamp Set on a piece of cream card stock.  I stamped the “Bloom where you are planted” sentiment before masking the pots and stamping a stripe and polka dot background using the Pattern Play stamp set.  For […]
