Hello everyone! Our friend Virgina is here to share photo tutorials for two beautiful cards she’s made with us! We love the use of color on her cards and the ways she used our With Love Word Die! — Dear Waffleflower friends, I am Virginia Lu from Yes, Virginia… blog. I am so honored to share my love of Waffle Flower Stamps with you today. I honestly had a hard time choosing which stamp set to use when I went about this guest design work. [Guest] It was Love at First Sight Card

Hello everyone! Waffle Flower friend Emily is here to share with us today! Emily does amazing things with critter stamps and we are so happy to have her showcasing our Monochrome stamp set! Take it away, Emily! I’m so excited to be a Guest Blogger over at Waffle Flower Crafts! When the Monochrome stamp set as released, I gasped ’cause I love critters, plus these ones were so unique and included some of my favourite types of animals. My husband, my son and I were all born in the Year of the Rat in the Chinese Zodiac! Plus, hubby and I are celebrating our 11th wedding anniversary next month so I used the rats to make a fun card. I always use Versafine Onyx Black pigment ink to stamp anything in black for the sharpest and darkest images. I heat embossed both the sentiment and rats with clear embossing powder. I love that […]

Glamorous Handmade Necklace Holder Box and #MakeitGiveit Sweepstakes

Hello everyone! Nina here! I’m excited to share a quick way to custom-made a necklace holder with the popular Envelope Punch Board and the #MakeItGiveIt Sweepstakes – a partnership between Jo-Ann Stores and the National Military Family Association. Glamorous Handmade Necklace Holder Box We went all gold and glamor for our tree and gift wrapping this year. We can all use some glitter and metallic shine for Christmas, can’t we? The oversized golden flowers were made with the Flower Punch Board from some Goldie Lox Foil Paper. I’ve shared a tutorial on the Flower Punch Board earlier here and I am sharing a quick how-tos for the necklace holder made from a piece of kraft cardstock (12″x12″) and the Envelope Punch Board.   Ever since Laura shared the Box Buster with us, I’ve been wanting to try it! How cool is it to make any size of a box using our beloved Envelope Punch Board? I measured the […]

DIY Halloween Pencil Toppers

Hello everyone! I’m very excited to share today’s project with you! Since Waffle Flower does not have any Halloween designs this year, I haven’t been able to make anything for Halloween except some cards until… yesterday! I was so happy to receive the invitation from Jo-Ann Fabric and Craft Stores to participate in their new campaign: #DIY4Halloween – a perfect opportunity to DIY for, isn’t it?! I went to my local Jo-Ann with the coupons on my phone (did you get the mobile apps? so convenient!). I spent a couple of hours browsing the fun collections, dreaming of the possibilities and brought home the supplies for my Halloween Pencil Toppers! Supplies I will try to link to where you can order some of the supplies online. But since it is close to Halloween, you probably need to go to the store to get your supplies. – Styrofoam Balls (There are many sizes, I picked the Floracraft 2-1/2″ Styrofoam Balls – 6PK/White.)
