Hello everyone! Popped in to share a couple of cards I made with Date Night Collection from Chickaniddy. The mint green and navy blue color combo makes me so happy! I bent the butterfly sticker and put a piece of foam tape underneath each wing to add some dimension to the card. The sentiment “Save the Date” was punched out from one of the journaling cards with a 2-1/2″ circle punch. The leftover piece was used on another card as shown below. I layered the flower stickers with foam adhesive for dimension. Thank you for stopping by! Happy Crafting!
Hello everyone! Popped in to share a gift-wrap I made with some dies from Top Dog Dies. Top Dog Dies is a new online store that offers their own brand of wafer-thin and steel-rule dies, along with dies from brands you already know and trust, including My Favorite Things, Sizzix, Savvy Stamps and Cheery Lynn Designs. Top Dog Dies is also the leading U.S. retailer for Tattered Lace, a new line of intricate dies designed by U.K. designer Stephanie Weightman. I die cut the Madison Doily from some silver foil paper and was happy with how cleanly it cuts. I did very little “poking” to clean up the intricate doily design. I die cut the Wildflower Die twice from green cardstock: And adhered the two pieces together loosely on top of the doily. I can picture myself putting more of this gift wrap together in the future. It is quick, […]
Hello everyone! I’m joining some friends today in a blog hop using Miriam Prantner‘s On the Corner stamp set from Neat and Tangled. If you came from awesome Joscie’s blog, you’re right on track! I was blown away by the Neat and Tangled design team samples on the release day (details here). Since I’ve shared a card using the focal here, I would like to share a card using just the sentiments today. The sentiments were created in perspective of the corner sign, so they can be used to create a unique look on almost any shape. I finished the card with some splatters, glitter dots and a gold bow. Your next stop is the very talented Wida Miller! Both Miriam and Danielle are giving away a set of this fun stamp. Leave comments along the way to enter to win! You have until Saturday Jan 18 to enter and the winners will be […]
