Hello everyone! Popped in to share a card I made that was published in Paper Crafts & Scrapbooking magazine June 2014 issue (p. 47)! This card was Top 3 of my favorites for last year. It all started with a scrap piece of pink cardstock that I didn’t want to toss away. I cut a heart with my Silhouette and heat embossed the sentiment from a PTI set in white. Love the sentiment! Thank you for stopping by! Happy Crafting!

Hello everyone! Popped in to share a folk art inspired card that is published in Paper Crafts & Scrapbooking Card Creations Vol. 12. I used flowers from Suzani and sentiment from Simply Tags Everyday. Some masking, some generation stamping and some coloring. I had a lot of fun making this card. Lucky Day Giveaway I have stuffed two boxes full of stamps and paper goodies. Some of the products are new, some of them were lightly used. One of them have stamps value over $250, and the other over $50. One of them has more vintage & elegant products, and the other has more modern & cute products. As long as you promise NOT to tell the public what are inside them (most of them were from my previous DTs), leave a comment to this post by midnight March 24 telling me which style you would prefer if you win. Hello everyone! Happy Chinese New Year if you celebrate it! I was very excited to find out that Stamp It! Techniques Vol. 2 is now available in both print or digital format! I was lucky to get a copy of it a few days ago and enjoyed every page. I wanted to share one of my cards that was published in this issue. The challenge was to Create a Scene! I was immediately inspired to make a polaroid frame with a landscape scene. As in real life, the subjects that are closer to us will appear bigger in scale in a photo! Think all the possibilities with the stamps we already have! Go ahead and have some mix-n-match fun! I punched a square from white cardstock; Stamped the bottom with flowers and leaves and masked them to stamp the water and mountains. I also heat embossed a cloud in the corner. A little […]
Hello everyone! Popped in to share a tag I made that was published in Create: Holidays Idea Book (October, 2013). It was made for Christmas but it certainly works for a handmade gift for Valentine’s Day or almost any occasion that you may have coming! I love, love cats! My cats love to play with anything that tangles and anything that they can scratch. Isn’t the sentiment perfect for a gift tag with a cat on it? How-to 1. Die cut a tag from pink heart paper and knot red hemp cord through the top of the tag. 2. Stamp the sentiment on the bottom of the tag in black and stamp the cat above it. 3. Stamp the cat image again onto blue patterned paper and white cardstock, paper piece the image together, and layer it over the base image using foam adhesive. 4. Wrap red hemp cord around […]
