Hello everyone! Nina here with another Five for Friday post for you! Have you noticed the string art trend? Our design team member Kim Kesti sure did and requested that we include something string art related in our DT Mix Stamp Set. I played with the dotted heart stamp and some threads for about an hour to create a reference card for the future. Before we get to the video, let’s look at the 5 string art hearts that inspired my project today. 1. What inspired me to create a reference card: Source 2. What inspired the multiple layers on the first heart. Source 3. What inspired the diagonal stitches on the second heart. Source 4. What inspired the ombre effect on the second heart. Source 5. What inspired me to use metallic threads on my finished card. Source My finished card: [Video] String Art Hearts, Reversed Backstitch & A Card From […]
Hello everyone! Nina here! I’m very excited to share today’s video. I took a ZIG class a few weeks ago and fell in love with their Clean Color Real Brush. These brushes make color blending easy! I found that these three colors are perfect for coloring the succulents from our Planted Stamp Set and Potted Stamp Set! The colors are so clean and pretty! This Succulent Color Blending Kit includes three pieces of 4″x7″ Bristol paper needed for this technique. [Video] Easy Color Blending Watch it below or in HD on Youtube. Aren’t they fun? Here is my finished card. Sentiment from In Every Way. I added the dimension with foam adhesives. I also added Wink of Stella Gold glitter for some messy free shimmer! I had so much fun playing with these products. I hope that you are encouraged to color a few things too? Thank you for stopping by! […]

Hello everyone! Tessa Wise here! My girls love these glow-in-the-dark stars and wanted to include them in their valentine’s this year. I tucked them away in some embossed vellum bags and decorated the outside using an out-of-this-world galaxy technique done with our Starry Night Stamp Set and Surface-Tag Die- Starter Kit. Hello! Its Sabrina sharing an idea for silly valentine’s with you today. I can never get enough puns, especially at Valentine’s time! There are just so many cute ones like this “I love you this……..much” sentiment included in the On My Mark stamp set. When combined with the coordinating die, it really makes for some cute mini cards! The cat and dog images are already long and stretched out but adding an accordion folded mid section makes them extra silly! There is room inside to tuck in a small treat if you wanted to hand something like this out at school, but they are cute even without something extra. I closed them with a small piece of washi tape to help create a little anticipation! It will also keep any treats contained inside. Here is a quick video for making these punny cat and dog valentine cards: […]
Hello friends, Katie here sharing an idea for a set of silly Valentines- perfect for the classroom. To make these Valentines, I used the materials picture below including the On My Mark stamp set, On My Mark die and the Flutter stamp set. I trimmed panels of white card stock to 3.25 x 4.25 and adhered some washi tape at the bottom. Next I stamped the polka dot heart from the Flutter stamp set. A quick tip that I wanted to share… notice the heart on the left is a bit splotchy. It was the first time I stamped it and with large solid images, sometimes you need to condition the stamps a bit. I cleaned the ink off the stamp and roughed up the surface just a bit with a fine grit sanding block and look at the stamped image on the right- it inked up and stamped perfectly. Next, […]
