Pebbles National Scrapbook Day Blog Hop – Free Pattern for Photo Flower Pot (PDF & .Studio)

Hello everyone! I’m joining my sweet peeps at Pebbles in a blog hop today for National Scrapbook Day! I’m sharing a flower pot keepsake using my beloved scrapbooking supply: patterned paper! I have had this photo of me and my cousin from 25 years ago (ahem, at least…) printed for a while. I used an app on my phone to add the frame and sentiment “Remember the time?” I couldn’t find a good match to create a keepsake for this photo until Pebbles released the Americana collection earlier this year. It is a 4th of July themed collection but the colors and patterns are also great for our everyday paper crafting projects! I started by picking a few of my favorite patterns out and the flower pot photo holder idea jumped into my mind. I went with it and am very happy with the result. Dimensional Lucky Clover with Free PDF Template Pattern

Hello everyone! I’m sharing a Lucky Clover Door Hanger on Pebbles  Blog today and thought it would be fun to share how I made the 4-leaf clover here! My project was for St. Patrick’s Day until I found out that Shamrocks and 4-leaf clovers are different… Did you know that? I was totally inspired by the Buttflies from Pebbles Garden Party collection! It was harder than I thought to create the look, but now we have a template pattern to make our lives easier! How to Make the Lucky Clover 1. Download template: http://cl.ly/2s1G3m3M272f, print and cutout as indicated. 2. Trim paper to 3-1/2″W x 7″L, score every 1/4″ widthwise. Score and fold in half lengthwise, pattern side in. 3. Put the straight edge of the template against the fold and trace the scallop edge on the back. The black solid lines on the pattern indicate score lines. You don’t need to […]

A Paper Crafted Christmas – Free Templates for 3D Reindeer, Trees and Star (.pdf) & A Coupon

Hello everyone! It is finally December! Have you started your holiday crafting? I’m sharing a fun & easy Christmas craft project today! This post is part of the Papercrafted Christmas campaign co-hosted by Jo-Ann and Die Cuts With a View (DCWV). All products used (except the templates) were found and bought at Jo-Ann. I received compensation in craft supplies for this post; however, this is my personal, honest opinion based on my experience. All products used were my personal choice. Thank you Jo-Ann and DCWV!  Isn’t Christmas the best occasion to craft with kids, decorate the house and enjoy some quality family binding time? I’m sharing a couple of good old PDF templates! Even a 4-year-old can help trace the templates, or hold the paper together while waiting for the glue to dry, right? This reindeer is my new favorite! I was inspired by a LEGO deer and had so much fun drawing and testing the template! […]

Candle Holder for Summer of Jo-Ann

Hello everyone! I’m very excited to share a project I made for Jo-Ann “Cape Discovery” summer crafting challenge! The project on the left is on p.16 of Jo-Ann’s spring catalog: http://bit.ly/cape-discovery . There are 72 knitting, sewing, paper and general craft projects that are sure to inspire. You can find the links to the How-to instructions at the bottom of each page. We were encouraged to reference the instructions but adding our own personal twist. And you can see my take on the right. I went to my local Jo-Ann store and bought a glass cube as well as some paper and embellishments. Look at the wall of Kathy Davis goodies. I picked a piece of matching paper from a 12×12 pad I had, trimmed to size and scored to form the base. The sample project used a Cricut to cut an open design on the side. I just used my […]
