Playing with Pebbles Birthday Wishes Collection

Hello everyone! I had a crafty weekend and finally got around to play with the new release from Pebbles, the Birthday Wishes Collection!   As a design team member, I’ve had this happy collection in my stash for a little while. I’m so excited that we finally get to share our projects! I have a card, a tag and a technique to share today! Paper Pieced Birthday Card I love the two little stamps in this collection. They are just perfect for the paper piecing technique. I first die cut a window from my card base. I used Waffle Flower’s brand new Surface – Tag Die – Starter Kit. I used a ruler to help me place it straight on paper and then used a piece of washi tape to hold the die in place while running it through the diecut machine. I then used the Surface – Tag Die – Scallop Add-on […]

Bowtiful Birthday Card

Hello everyone! Popped in to share a card I made yesterday using our Bowtiful Stamp Set! It was very easy to make and I love the look! First, I die cut a few bows stamped on some patterned paper. I used Garden Party 6″x6″ paper pad from Pebbles. Then I cut a piece of patterned paper to 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″ for the A2 card base. I started layering some bows at the bottom of the card: After I was happy with their positions, I adhered them down and cut off the extras that were hanging off the edges. Then I continued to cover the whole card. Remember to save the pieces that you cut off, they might come into use later! Then I combined the sentiments from the set to make a “cake” and used the “!” mark as candles! I used a black marker to extend the “flames”. Easy […]

Celebrate with Cake Card

Hello everyone! Popped in to share a card I made with Avery Elle Cake & Candles stamp set and Count On It Die!       The stamp set is perfect for the popular chalkboard technique! I’m trying to make something different here. I stamped the sentiment on white cardstock and then punch it out with my Marvy purple square punch to make a cake! I die cut the numbers out and stamped them with the stripes from Texture Tiles Be Cool stamp set. I also cut a narrow piece of paper with some decorative scissors to mimic the cream on top. Thank you for stopping by! Don’t forget to check what Yainea has for you today! Happy Crafting!

Wrench Birthday Card

Hello everyone! The card for today was published in Paper Crafts Card Creations for Him. Here’s the link to a digital sneak peak of the issue. This was actually the first time I used Simply Tags: Everyday! The die cut background was created by JJ Bolton’s Chevron Bits Die. I also took the adventure of misting paint on this card.
