Hello everyone! The Waffle Flower team, aka my family, is off to have some quality bonding time! We have caught up with shipping before we leave and our normal shipping schedule will resume on September 3. While we are away, we have invited more friends to help us cover the blog! Today’s guest is Donna Mikasa. Watercolored Friendship Card Donna heat embossed the stars and the sentiment from Starry Night Stamp Set and then created a galaxy look using watercolor. We love the silver glittery stars cut with our Tiny Star Die. Fun, right? Thank you for stopping in! Happy Crafting!

Hello everyone! Have you noticed that Christmas cards are starting to pop up everywhere? I’m back in the clean and graphic mood lately and wanted to share a card created with my favorite tree die from Lifestyle Crafts / We R Memory Keepers. The Dimensional Tree Die And here is my card. I layered two die cuts for some extra dimension. The white layers were actually left from my Christmas Gumball Tree project I’ve shared before. Is it Christmas yet? :) Thank you for stopping by! Happy Crafting!
Hello everyone! We have another guest today! One thing I love about JJ Bolton is that she is full of “surprises”! Her cards are created with fun techniques and clever uses of products, but there is usually something unexpected that makes me smile. On this card, that something is how JJ combined all four of our new sets together! I was all about critter stamps until JJ showed me what graphic stamps can do. I still collect cute images but my favorites are those ones that can be combined for endless possibilities. JJ’s product design reflects her creativity, do check them out! Now, take it away, JJ! Snowy Night Glittery Shaker Card Hi everyone! It’s JJ and I’m thrilled to be stopping in at Waffle Flower! I’m in love with all the new sets, and I put them all together to create this glittery shaker, snowy night Christmas card! (That’s a mouthful;) When I saw the winding river die of the […]
Hello everyone! We have another guest today! Chari Moss was one of my first cardmaker crushes. I’ve always loved her use of distress inks and her attention to details when it comes to building scenes. So when we have our first scene building set: Riverside, her name was the first one that came to my mind. You will find lots of clever uses of products in her post today! Take it away, Chari! Build a Scene Using Distress Inks Hi everyone, Chari here to share a project using some of the newest Waffle Flower stamps! I used the Riverside stamp set, the Riverside die set and Starry Night stamp set along with lots of distress inks. I used a rectangle die to cut a wide frame from kraft card stock. Then I stamped it using Toffee Crunch Memento ink which has a great tone on tone look on kraft card […]
Hello everyone! I’m very excited to share today’s card. I think I outdid myself! I can finally put these products away for a while, knowing that I’ve done my best. We are going to showcase our next release in a couple of days! It will be another whole round of fun! Can’t wait to share with you! I was cleaning my craft table and found a piece of green paper that was left from a card I made earlier (another one of my favorites, click here to see it). And my Rock My World Die Set and Surface- Tag Die – Scallop Add-on were still left on the table from the last project. So I combined them again! I love the funky shapes the rock dies created. You could create a similar flower with an oval die but it wouldn’t have so much character to it. The petals were created from the leftover […]
Hello everyone! Happy Friday! I was inspired by this rock painting project to make a card for today! Since I’ve been having fun playing with our Rock My World Stamp Set and Die Set lately, I immediately wanted to make strawberries with our rocks! And here is my take! How to Make Strawberries from Your Rock Stamps 1. Stamp the rocks on the card front. I’m using the reverse side of the “live, laugh, love” rock to get a solid image. 2. Stamp the leaves (from Flower Circles Stamp Set) and cut out. Cut about 1/16″ away from the stamped image will actually give it a more finished look. 3. Use a black pen to add some random dots to your “strawberries”. Wait until your ink is dry on paper to do this. The dots do not need to be perfect. 4. Use a white gel pen to add the seeds. […]
Hello everyone! I’m sharing two 4th of July cards over at Pebbles’s Blog today and thought it would be fun to share another one here using the same collection: Americana! I started with my favorite paper from this collection “Home of the Brave“. The word “Sparkle” on it inspired me to spell “celebrate” using some white glitter foam alphabet stickers. I also used foam adhesive to add more dimension to the card. To my US friends and families – Happy 4th! Thank you for stopping by! Happy Crafting!
