Silly Valentine Week – Mix-n-Match Mini Card Set by Lorena

Hello there! Lorena here with another idea for Waffle Flower Craft’s My Silly Valentine week. Lots of adorable ideas have been shared so far, and today I bring you a set of mini cards with a fun and cute little scene that can be stamped in no time. They are about 3 ¼ square. I used Monochrome, On My Mark and Rain Check stamp sets on my mini cards. One of the best things about Waffle Flower’s stamps is how easy it is to combine different sets. Gotta love that! The first step is adhering a red cardstock square to the card front. After that, I used a simple square die to cut the white panels where the scene is going to be stamped. The first thing I stamped is the fun birdie from Monochrome set, and then I masked it to stamp a little lawn for him to stand […]

Silly Valentine Week – Quick and Easy Lunch Box Valentines by Kim Kesti

Hello everyone! Kim Kesti here! My seven year old daughter, Eloise is in first grade and takes a lunch box to school every day. I thought it would be so fun to surprise her for the week leading up to Valentine’s Day with a fun little card tucked in with her lunch. I created these five cards assembly line: first I trimmed five strips of red cardstock (3 ¾” X 8”), next I scored each strip at ¾” and again at 4 ½”, this creates a tiny little matchbox card. Since I am not putting these notes in envelopes, I love using the matchbox fold and securing it closed with a staple.   I trimmed patterned paper for each card (3 ½” X 3 ½”) and also trimmed a cardstock panel to stamp on (3” X 3”). Stamping each little panel was so fun! I used a variety of stamps […]

Hello everyone! Nina here! I’m super excited to start this new feature on Waffle Flower Blog today! Watch It Wednesday Starting this month, we will have a video tutorial on every 2nd, 3rd and 4th Wednesdays! Sabrina and Tessa will join us every month for this feature! Rise & Shine Card From Start to Finish I made the card on the right for our new release. It was my favorite but I made a few small changes to it and made the card on the left. I shared why and how I made the changes in the video. I also shared some tips and tricks on how to stamp the “perfect” sun rays “effortlessly”. LOL This is a confession of a “lazy” perfectionist. Watch it below or in HD on Youtube. Thank you for watching, everyone! SUPPLIES Waffle Flower Crafts Rain Check Stamp Set Waffle Flower Crafts Partly Cloudy Die Hero Arts Ink – Butter Bar Hero […]

A Simple Thank You Card & the Winners!

Hello everyone! Popped in to share a card I made last night and to announce the winners of our Instagram Thank You Giveaway. I was browsing our store and thought that I should make a real sample from our idea sheets. And I picked the very first one that came up: the idea sheet for 100% Love Stamp Set. This is a fun little 2″x3″ set that can add a lot to our projects! I pulled out the set as well as the Surface – Tag Stamp Set that has the solid mini tag image to pick some colors. I catalog all my ink colors on a 1 page color chart. I have multiple charts for each brand but you can also download a blank page for your own ink collection here: Download a blank hand color chart here. I first stamped the thank you circle on a piece of sticky […]
