Playing with Envelope Punch Board + A Card

Hello everyone! I have being playing with the Envelope Punch Board by We R Memory Keepers lately and had so much fun! The smallest size measurement listed on the board is for 2″ x 3-1/2″ (Gift Card, the left one as shown in the photo below). It is too big for most of my cards so I did a little hack and made the mini ones. How I love that my mini tags fit right in! Haha! {You will get this when you have the board} Paper Size: 3″ x 3″; Score Line (1-1/2″ for the square envelope; 1-3/4″ for the rectangle envelope). To put things into perspective, I put one on a card quickly. Cute? ;) Both the yellow strips and the pink triangles were first stamped with my texture tiles and then inked with some distress ink. A little bit of inking just for fun! Think about all […]

Fintastic Summer Pattern Play

Hello everyone! I couldn’t remember when was the last time I made something just for the fun of it.  So when I saw the new The Mixy-Matchy Style Challenge in the Moxie Fab World, I decided to play a little for myself :) I have been exploring the mixy-matchy style (free-style collage?) lately myself. The photos Cath put together for us in the challenge are so inspiring! I have a few more ideas I would like to try in the next few day. Spend 2-3 hours making a card is the best way to end a long day, right? ;) Lots of patterned paper and some stamping, a little bit of washi, a little bit of cork, a little bit of wood and a little bit of sequins and hemp cord. I had so much fun putting this card together. A touch of glitter to finish the card. Can you tell that […]

RIC #36 – Aren’t You Lovely Card

Hello everyone! It’s time for another Runway Inspired Challenge! Looks like triangles are going to stick around for a while? It’s been my favorite trend since the chevron! I started with a gold foil triangle on kraft paper, rubbed on the sentiment and went over the black lines with a white gel pen to make the sentiment stand out. Gold, dot, chevron, monogram and tiny floral pattern? This card makes me happy! I had so fun playing with this week’s challenge, I hope that you can join us too! There is no product requirements, just be inspired and play! [Guest Design] Retro at Festive Friday

Hello everyone! I am very excited to guest design for Festive Friday Challenge this week.  It is a relatively new challenge created by my sweet friend Meredith MacRitchie. Every two weeks, there will be a new challenge to jump start your holiday projects. Anything goes as long as it’s Christmas themed! This week, we are having some Retro fun! I love all things retro and here is my take: All paper from Sleigh Ride 6×6 Paper Pad. My rosette dies are all for 12×12 paper so I made my first hand-scored rosette for this card. Well, actually it was a half rosette to tuck under the tag. It is amazing how much joy just cutting and gluing can bring to me. N&T – March Release – Sketchy Cupcakes

Hello everyone! I am back again for the Neat and Tangled March release! Today we are showcasing the Sketchy Cupcakes set! I love the spoon image in this set! I want more of it to show behind the cupcake so I cut it in half and stick it behind:) No one will see it! (Wink) You probably have noticed that this is a gift card holder :) I cut a piece of 6″x6″ paper (Fourteen by Crate Paper) to 4-1/4″ x 6″ and score at 4-1/4″ lengthwise. use the extra flap as the mounting base for the front piece. Then add tape or adhesive to each side and adhere. Easy Peasy! :) I hope that you enjoyed my post today and click on over to Neat and Tangled Blog for more inspirations! The design team girls are amazing! Happy Crafting!

Big Boy/Girl Circles Printables

New printables, everyone:) There’s nothing a big boy/girl can’t handle! I have had this cute elephant die for quite some time and it was in my shower in the morning on the last day of Gallery Idol Submission when this sentiment came to me :) One of those “Aha” moments and I made the card: I designed the sentiment circle in Silhouette Studio and used the green sketch pen to sketch it out:) A small tip: If your pen is new, make sure the ink is flowing smoothly before you put it in use:) I am impressed how well it writes:) I just cannot stop there but make a bunch of them in rainbow colors for both boys and girls :) The circles fit into a regular 1-3/4″ punch:) I think they will make great reward badges for kids :) Enjoy~ Download Big Girl Circles (PDF) Download Big Boy Circles (PDF) SUPPLIES (code […]
