I love the tone on tone details they add to a project. I punched some circles from the Core Essentials Brights 6×6 pad, creased them with my fingers and sanded them with Sand It Set to make my dimensional flowers. I used the leaf stamp from Hampton Art Licensed Echo Park Sweet Girl stamp (CHA Winter 2013 new release, will be available soon, you can see it […]

Hello everyone! Today I am featured for the Hampton Art & Scor-pal Week! You can check out all the projects and the giveaway details here! The winner will be announced on Monday the 19th. I am a long time Scor-pal fan and I am very excited to play with the new Scor-Envi they just came out with. And here is what I have for you today: quick and easy take-out boxes! Watch the tutorial in HD on Youtube or below: Just cut your paper to a square (I used 5-1/2″ squares for my projects), put it against the scor-pal & Scor-envi as shown below; score two vertical lines (7″ and 9″ for the square boxes; 7-1/4″ […]

CAS(E) This Sketch – Keep Calm and Stamp On

Hello Everyone! Today I played with the CAS(E) This Sketch Challenge #3. It is a clean and simple card sketch challenge created by the sweet and talented Jackie Rockwell! The challenge DT is really a dream team! See their samples here! I don’t know why but the sketch immediately reminded me of those cool vintage wooden stamps. So I drew one in Silhouette Studio, cut out and made this card: This is one of those rectangle wooden stamps – we are looking at it from the left side at 45 degree angle (when looking straight at the card)- am I the only one who thinks so? lol Anyway, I used the sentiment “Keep Calm and Stamp On”, hoping that it can be a hint! lol Stamps by Hampton Art (PS0645); PP by KI Memories (Blocks of Time KI10005, Visionary KI10003); I also inked the edges with some distress ink. I […]
