Hello everyone! Popped in to share a card that was published in Paper Crafts & Scrapbooking magazine January 2014 issue. The card was in the Stamp It! Techniques section for Spotlight Stamping. The idea is to hight light a part of your stamp by stamping the part again, coloring it differently and popping it up with some foam adhesive. I heat embossed the map pattern on both the kraft card base and some red cardstock. I used a heart punch to punch out the part I wanted to spotlight. Think all the punch and die shapes you can use with this technique! If you are a subscriber of the magazine, you can see all the creative takes on this technique here! Thank you for stopping by! Hello Everyone! I had some time this morning and made a couple cards for Grayson and his brother Aydan. You can read about the card drive Danielle started here. These are simple cards but I hope that they will bring a smile to the boys. I used the new Hero Arts Gold ink on the building silhouette in the super day card. I am a little disappointed about the gold ink. It is watery (like the rest of the shadow inks) and is more like a light kraft color with some glitter in it than a solid pigment gold ink I am used to. I will try it more later but here is a comparison shot: And while I’m here, I would like to announce the random winner of Pebbles Back to Basics Blog Hop at my stop. Congratulations Kelly!
