Forever By Your Side Card

Hello everyone! Popped in to share a card I made that was published in Paper Crafts & Scrapbooking magazine June 2014 issue (p. 47)! This card was Top 3 of my favorites for last year. It all started with a scrap piece of pink cardstock that I didn’t want to toss away. I cut a heart with my Silhouette and heat embossed the sentiment from a PTI set in white. Love the sentiment! Thank you for stopping by! Happy Crafting!

Stamping Royalty 2013 – Hello Card

Hello everyone! I am working hard to get my assignments done for next month and probably will not post anything new until next Thursday, Oct 31 for Avery Elle Inspiration Blog Hop. So I popped in to share the card that got me into Stamping Royalty 2013 – Hello Category. I was inspired by the folk art trend and a cute flower wreath photo Cath shared over Moxie Fab World (Sorry, I don’t remember which post it was…). I love challenges and contests when I can use any products I want to mix and match. On this card Flowers and leaves – WPlus9 Scalloped circle – Papertrey Ink Circled Hello sentiment – Studio Calico Thank you for stopping by! Happy Crafting! PTI July Blog Hop – Favorite Moments Card

Hello everyone! Did I mention more giveaway yesterday? Check out Moxie Fab World! Cath is showcasing some of my favorite Avery Elle sets (including both of my sets) today! And there will be 2 winners to win all 6 sets! Good luck!! I’m playing along with the PTI July Blog Hop today! There are many fun citrus color combos this time and I picked the very first one: I picked Raspberry Fuzz to be the main color and diecut the tag for my sentiment (from “Sending My Love”). I traced the tag down on some white cardstock, heat embossed the flower centers (from “Funky Florals”) and stamped away with Pure Poppy and Berry Sorbet ink. Off to check out the inspiration in the hop! Happy Stamping!

PTI Blog Hop – Touch of Gold

Hello everyone! I’m playing in the Papertrey Ink June Blog Hop! Touch of Gold! I used the pretty teal/gold combo for the first time! Stamps: (bow from Ribbon & Bows, sentiment from Stylish Sentiments: Birthday) Papertrey Ink; (tiny dot from Simply Tags Everyday) Avery Elle; Inks: Delicata GoldenGlitz by Tsukineko and Hawaiian Shore by Papertrey Ink. I totally cheated on the confetti look. Anything random makes this linear head nervous. So I used a confetti star mask as a guide: Easy peasy, huh? Thank you for stopping by! Happy crafting!

PTI – Enjoy Your Day Card

Hello everyone! I’m playing in the Papertrey Ink Blog Hop today: Tilted. Is it too early to share a summer card? I was inspired by Moxie Fab World The Wonder of Watercolor Challenge to create my background panel with watercoloring. I brushed on the sand color first and brought in a very light blue in a circular motion from left to right and then added in a deeper blue to create some depth. But to be honest, I really didn’t know what I was doing – the watercolor fixed itself when dried! Keep the paper wet while coloring – the best tip I’ve ever had. Had so much fun! All stamps from Flipping Out by PTI. The flip flops were cut with the die and then stamped. Thank you for stopping! Happy crafting!
