Hello everyone! Popped in to share a card I made for a publication call. It didn’t get picked for that issue but I loved it anyway. Here is the sketch: As shared before in [The Missing Manual for Card Making] Stretch A Sketch, I rotated the sketch, gave the elements meaning and added special touches with stitched “X”s and dots “O”s :) It is a winning card in my book. All paper and embellishments are from Pebbles Yours Truly collection. Thank you for stopping by! Happy Crafting!

Hello everyone! I’m sharing two 4th of July cards over at Pebbles’s Blog today and thought it would be fun to share another one here using the same collection: Americana! I started with my favorite paper from this collection “Home of the Brave“. The word “Sparkle” on it inspired me to spell “celebrate” using some white glitter foam alphabet stickers. I also used foam adhesive to add more dimension to the card. To my US friends and families – Happy 4th! Thank you for stopping by! Happy Crafting! Hello everyone! I had a crafty weekend and finally got around to play with the new release from Pebbles, the Birthday Wishes Collection! As a design team member, I’ve had this happy collection in my stash for a little while. I’m so excited that we finally get to share our projects! I have a card, a tag and a technique to share today! Paper Pieced Birthday Card I love the two little stamps in this collection. They are just perfect for the paper piecing technique. I first die cut a window from my card base. I used Waffle Flower’s brand new Surface – Tag Die – Starter Kit. I used a ruler to help me place it straight on paper and then used a piece of washi tape to hold the die in place while running it through the diecut machine. I then used the Surface – Tag Die – Scallop Add-on […]
Hello everyone! Happy Memorial Day! I made a card in honor of our hero. The Americana collection from Pebbles is by far my favorite patriotic line. I love that there is a nice kraft color mixed in the traditional red, white and blue. My favorite paper is this “Home of the Brave” paper from which I cut out my sentiment for the card. The pinwheel and the US flag tag are both ready made embellishments from the same collection. I trimmed one of the cardstock shape that says “Made in the USA” to make my banner on top. I also used foam adhesive to add more dimension to the card. God bless those who serve their country. Thank you for stopping by. Happy Crafting! Supplies
Hello everyone! I hope your week’s been going well? I needed a congrats card for a lovely young lady’s graduation day so I pulled out my sweet paper goodies from Pebbles Front Porch collection to make it: A pre-made pocket with the sentiment “Congrats!” and a chipboard bird shape helped to make this card a quick and easy project! I then tied a piece of gray ribbon into a knot and then cut the tails. As a finish touch, we tucked in a few bucks for the grad to use! Winner! The winner for our Masking with Sew Easy Stitching Templates & A Giveaway is: Congrats, Indy! Please email me your snail mail address to claim your prize! Thank everyone for joining the giveaway! Hello everyone! I’m joining my sweet peeps at Pebbles in a blog hop today for National Scrapbook Day! I’m sharing a flower pot keepsake using my beloved scrapbooking supply: patterned paper! I have had this photo of me and my cousin from 25 years ago (ahem, at least…) printed for a while. I used an app on my phone to add the frame and sentiment “Remember the time?” I couldn’t find a good match to create a keepsake for this photo until Pebbles released the Americana collection earlier this year. It is a 4th of July themed collection but the colors and patterns are also great for our everyday paper crafting projects! I started by picking a few of my favorite patterns out and the flower pot photo holder idea jumped into my mind. I went with it and am very happy with the result. Hello everyone! Popped in to share a teacher’s gift idea! A quick and easy classroom decoration using Pebbles Garden Party collection. This is one of the projects that you may not want the others to see the back, haha! I made it from a piece of cardboard. I cut a piece of a carton to 12″ x 5-1/8″ for my project. First, I cut three 12″x1-1/2″ strips from the pink grids paper and die cut the scallop borders from them. You can also hand draw some scallops and cut out. I adhered the scallops down first and then covered the edges with a piece of the black dots paper. Adhering the thickers down may be the only tricky part of this project. I first put the top of the letters on the plastic packaging to decide where I want the letters to be. Then I pressed the lower portion of […]
