Thanks to Jackie, I get to pick two SVG kits provided free of charge by SVG Cuts.
My only experience with SVG Cuts before was using one of their free designs on my porthole card here. This time, I picked Christmas Cheer and Rockin and Rollin. The jukebox card is in the R&R kit (there is also a jukebox box pattern in there).
You will need the designer version of Silhouette Studio to be able to import SVGs for cutting with your Silhouette machines. I am impressed with how well organized SVG Cuts’ files are and how detailed their instructions are. I love that all the files are already sized to go together on a card. If nothing else, their awesome project samples are totally worth checking out! So cute and bright and inspiring! You will love it!

Howdy! It’s time for another The Cameo Spotlight Challenge! This week we are having a color challenge: apple green, bright orange, rich red and medium gray! Additional neutral colors allowed are: black, white and kraft.
You probably know how much I heart Paper Smooches stamps? Unique images and sentiments perfect for creating with Silhouette machines. Kim, the sweet and awesome owner of PS sent us each a stamp set of choice. I’m a PS Club member (I get all three new sets about a week earlier than the release date) so I picked a set from The Kismet Collection: Buckaroo!
I used the print and cut function of the Silhouette. I bought the Arizona state shape here, replaced the star (indicating where Phoenix is) with a location icon I drew, increased the line thickness to 6pt, changed the color to bright orange, printed them out and then cut. I measured the cactus in the Buckaroo stamp set to determine the size of the word bubble I drew in Silhouette Studio.
There are amazing samples and freebies provided by the TCS DT this week, you can check them out here!
This coming Monday, I will share my first card as a Paper Smooches Sparks Challenge DT member :) Hope to see you here then! Happy Crafting!
There is a change of what can be entered for the challenge from now on: you can make cards, tags, scrapbook pages, home decor, gift boxes/bags and ornaments for The Cameo Spotlight challenges now! Wheels turning? ;) And this week, the winner will receive some awesome prize from Gelatins!
I looked in the Silhouette store but could not find a ghost that I like so I drew my own little cuties. Look cute alone on a paper bag too!
Here is a little preview of the free patterns. I included a witch hat pattern as well. You are welcome to use them in challenges but please link to this post (not the file directly).

Hello everyone! It is time for another The Cameo Spotlight Challenge!
The challenge is to use the three colors (rich red, deep orange and harvest gold) on your card. I used only these colors on today’s card but you are allowed to use neutral colors as well (black, white and kraft). This week we have a great sponsor and prize :) Check out the details here!
Does it remind you of the Gallon/Quart/Pint rule?:) I used this file as a starting point (as the red lines shown below), played with the proportion of the colors and then cut each layer out. I measured the sentiment I planned on using and drew a rectangle of its size to help me resize the other elements.
Quick and easy, right? :) If you have a Silhouette machine, why not join us in this challenge? Happy crafting!
Morning crafters! Welcome to another Cameo Spotlight Challenge! TCS is a challenge blog dedicated to creating cards with your Silhouette machines (SD and Cameo). We are having one challenge every two weeks. This time, there is a prize for the winner! Check out the details here!
I am totally into the triangle trend. I have three ways to use triangles on my card. I sketched the background with Silhouette white sketch pen. The triangle border and arrows are some dies I have.
I also have a triangle background .studio file to share today.
You are welcome to share the projects you made with the files on your blog but please credit and link to this post (not the file directly).

I have been into shaped cards ever since I made the pineapple card. Check out the super cute fish file by Samantha Walker here!
Sentiment is from Wild Life Puns by Joy’s Life. The waves are some new dies by Lifestyle Crafts (release post here) I’ve been getting emails asking how to make shaped cards stand alone so I included a photo in today’s post:
