I struggled with this die set at first because, just using standard cutting pads on my Big Shot, the die forms left edge marks on the paper beyond the intended die cuts. Super annoying. Solved it by changing my shims: the sandwich that worked for me was the standard cutting platform, a bottom plate, the card panel face up, the die face down on it, then my Magic Mat and three sheets of copy paper. Perfect result. Now I can't stop making cards with this set, it's so versatile. Just be sure to do a test run to get your shims right.

I'm really enjoying this big "friend" die and it's great for pet-themed cards as well as regular uses. The dies cut perfectly and --yay!--the word friend is all in once piece so it's a great stand alone die and makes it easy to stack your die cuts, ink them, emboss them etc. The shadow die is also a great feature. Very happy with my purchase.

I love this square die set! It cuts great and crisply, so easy to sew the floss thread through the holes.
