[Guest & Giveaway] Ombre Stamped Stitched Cup of Tea by Lydia Evans

Hi there everyone, it's Lydia here from Lydia Evans Design. I'm so excited to be guesting here today over on the Waffle Flower Blog. I was sooooo lucky to meet the amazing Nina earlier this year so this makes me even more happy to be sharing with you guys!

Okay, so I'm in LOVE with this stamp set! I just love how cute these little tea images are and that they have little cute faces makes me smile mide when I use them.

Even though they are solid stamps that does't mean that they have to be all the same colour- by double stamping them with different inks you can get many different looks- I hope my video inspires you to give it a try!

[Guest & Giveaway] How to Stamp with Deco Foil by Hedgehog Hollow

Hi there! Thanks for joining me as a Waffle Flower guest blogger! I usually blog over at Hedgehog Hollow and regular visitors will know my love of all things from Waffle Flower!

Today I have a great idea for stamping with foil using both the ‘layering marble set’ and the stunning ‘heatwave’ dress. I can also imagine this working so well with the ‘Pretty Wings’ set on those intricate wing details.

Now of course you want to create your own and we have a full tutorial video for you…

Wasn’t that super simple but so effective? I love the reflections on the dress, I can imagine it hanging in a couture window, look how they catch my photography lights…

Plus those foil accents on the marble add the same shimmer I get from my kitchen countertops, I wish I could recreate this background in the kitchen!

This card is so easy, everyone thinks foiling is such a hard process but look how many supplies I used, here’s another view of that lovely lustre…

The Waffle Flower inks are so nice to work with, they stamp perfectly with photopolymers and give such a true color with not too much translucency, I hope we get some more colors soon! Here’s a complete supply list to recreate your own version of this card…

[Guest & Giveaway] Sweet Shaker Card by Erika 'Scrappika'

Hello everyone, it's Erika here! I'm so happy to be guest designer for Waffle Flower Crafts today. For this blog post I created a sweet shaker card using the adorable Sweets Stamp Set. I love this set, it's so versatile and fun that I'm going to use it for a lot of projects, especially planner and cards!

Watch the card process in the video below for all the details.

First of all, I stamped on watercolor paper using Archival black ink and I colored all the subjects from Sweets Stamp Set with Tombow brush pens; then I cut the subjects with the matching dies. I used the circle with scallop from the Flower Circles Inverted Die set and I placed the acetate on white paper to create the shaker card.

I created with the foam tape a space to put inside the sequins and the colored candies.

I then closed the card with pink card stock and I started to decorate the front with the funny girl and sweets.

For the banner I used the stamps composing the phrase "Sweets for the sweet" and, after all, I created a pattern for the border of the card using yellow, pink and blue Tombow pens at last, shake!!!

I hope you enjoyed! Thanks for stopping by!

[Guest & Giveaway] Pretty Wings by Wanda Guess

Hi again! It’s Wanda, and I’m so happy to be joining you here on the Waffle Flower Blog again in this beautiful month of June! Today I’m sharing a card I made using the new Pretty Wings stamp set and dies. For this project, I used all three sizes of the beautiful daisy stamps! I used a color palette that is warm and rich, like a Summer heat wave.

I started with an A2 card base made from wood grain paper. The I used the Lacy Layers Dies to cut a rectangular window in the front of the card. I offset it slightly into the upper right corner of the card. Since the area behind was brown, I layered a piece of white cardstock. I later stamped my sentiment onto this white piece.

I stamped and die cut several daisies using red, yellow and orange ink. All the centers are stamped in black ink to add a pop! I layered the daisies around the window opening of the card. I also die cut some of the Greenery dies using bright green paper. Everything was then layered and attached to the card. These colors are so fresh.

Here is a side photo of the completed card. This is a really fun card layout and you could use a circle, a square, or any other shape, for the opening.

I stamped the "THANKS" sentiment just above the green leaves in the bottom right of the opening.

BIG hugs and thanks to Waffle Flower for inviting me to be a guest designer during June. I’m grateful for the chance to be featured here and to share with everyone! Have an amazing week!

Wanda
