Hi Everyone, the Let Love Grow stamp set is so amazing and unique, it is definitely one of my favorite Waffle Flower Crafts stamp sets! I thought this stamp set would be fun to use different color combinations with. I love all the parts of the characters and wanted to create a bed of vegetation for the veggie that has buds.
First, I colored and cut my images. I used copic markers for the coloring. Here are the colors I used: Greens – BG11, BG32 Pink/Peach – ROO, R11, R02, R21, R32 Brown – E71, E74 I accented the coloring with white gel pen and Wink of Stella clear brush pen. Next I started on my background. I cut the card front with the largest Lacy Layers Die. I used Cracked Pistachio Distress Oxide ink to create a sky and inked the edges with Broken China Distress Oxide Ink. To create atmosphere for the bed of vegetation I blended Abandoned Coral Distress Oxide Ink at the bottom. I used the “Let Love Grow” sentiment and stamped it at the top with Versamark and white heat embossed. I took three of the images with berries and cut the tops to make a bed of vegetation. I first adhered them to the left and right directly on the card and foam taped the middle one. I then only put foam tape on the image with buds at the top and adjusted the image so it looked like he was standing on top of the middle of the vegetation. The finishing touches included star and heart sequins as well as clear bubbles on the vegetation to look like dew. I used Ranger Matte Medium to adhere these. Finally take your card front and adhere it to a top folding card base.
I hope you enjoy this card and give it a try!
Rina
