For the background I stamped the outline images from the Hello Fall Stamp Set with black dye ink and then filled in the images with the solid coordinating stamp using an assortment of Distress Oxide Inks in Fired Brick, Spiced Marmalade, Fossilized Amber, Wild Honey, Peeled Paint, and Vintage Photo. Additional solid images were added to the background to finish the design. The background was cut at an angle and set aside to work on the sentiment.
I carefully cut apart the greeting with some fine tip scissors and stamped the sentiment at an angle using Versamark Ink and embossing with sticky embossing powder. Gold Gilding Flakes were applied to the greeting and also on a piece of scor-tape adhered to the top edge of the patterned background. The gold gilding works surprising well on bold sentiments like the one from Hello Fall and looks amazing against the black cardstock background.
With clear stamps, you can easily reassemble the sentiment on an acrylic block the next time you use it. I love customizing greetings this way to fit the design of my card. Additional images were stamped and die cut with the coordinating Hello Fall dies and used as accents next to the greeting.
