[Fun Friday] A2 Nested Domes Die Cookie Jar by Therese

Hello all! It's Therese here and today is all about stretching the A2 Nested Domes Dies and I thought it would be perfect to combine these with the new Little Bakers Stamp Set to create a fun cookie jar.

Firstly, I stamped and colored the images I needed and cut them out using the Little Bakers Matching Die Set. To create my cookie jar I cut a dome in acetate and stamped the Layering Woodgrain on some pink cardstock with the Happy Go Lucky ink.

I die cut the base and knob for the cookie jar from this. My sentiment speech bubble is from the Monochrome Stamp Set and was stamped with New Fish in Pond ink. Finally, I popped all of these up on the front of a topfold white card base.

Thanks for stopping by, I hope you have a great day!

[In the Details] Monochrome Rainbow Cards by Nichol Spohr

Hello! Nichol here today with some Monochrome Rainbow Cards featuring the new Monochrome Dies as well as the new Scenery Dies. Images from the Monochrome Stamp Set were stamped with black ink and Waffle Flower My Pleasure, Oh Happy Day, You Said What, Chirp Chirp, Daydreaming, and Happy Go Lucky inks. The images were die cut with the coordinating dies.

Backgrounds were inked by masking off portions of cardstock with post it tape and using an Ink Duster to apply Waffle Flower My Pleasure, Oh Happy Day, You Said What, Chirp Chirp, Daydreaming, and Happy Go Lucky inks to form a rainbow rays background.

Borders were die cut from smooth white cardstock using a Scenery Die and layered along the bottom edge of the background. A greeting from the Monochrome Stamp Set was stamped on one of the cloud borders using black ink.

The images were adhered to the backgrounds as shown and the card was finished by applying Glossy accents to some of the images.

Thanks for stopping by!

Nichol

[Video] Interactive - Push Tab Slider Card by Therese

Hi Everyone! It's Therese here!

Revealing a secret is always so much fun and that is what a slider card can do. Today it’s time to create a push tab slider card using some sweet Summery Big Bear and Bird images.

Watch below or on our YouTube channel.

I used the wave die from Stay Cool die set to create a decorative cut for the image to slide through on a piece of blue cardstock. I stamped some blue waves with Daydreaming ink and topped them off with a snow marker pen.

The images from Stay Cool stamp set were stamped and colored with Copic markers. Then I fussy cut it out leaving a pull tab which I stamped a red My Pleasure Ink arrow from the Monochrome stamp set.

The sentiment from Stay Cool stamp set was white heat embossed on black cardstock. I inserted the image in place and then adhered the panel to the front of a topfold card. The fish and sentiment were also attached to the card front along with a few clear droplets.

Thanks for stopping by, I hope you have a great day!

[Video] Interactive - Magical Flower Window Slider Card by Katie Gehring

Friends, Katie Gehring here.

I have a video to share with you today showing you how I created a Magical Window Slider Card using the Lacy Layers die, the Magical Flower Border die, the and the Monochrome Stamp Set.

These magical slider cards definitely require a bit of paper engineering, but they add a really amazing interactive element to your cards.

I kept things simple by stamping and adhering die cuts to the clear layer so that the decorative scene would remain the same and only the background would change as the slider tab moves up and down. The colorful background was created by watercoloring with Kuretake Gansai Tambi watercolor set. I just adore the bright vivid colors that you can create with this set.

I hope you’ll take a peek at my video today to see how I created the slider element and how the card came together.
