Hello everyone! It’s Channin here and today I’m sharing a video on how to create a fun valentine that is perfect for classroom valentine’s exchanges and even houses a hidden treat! I love creating valentines! Even when I was working fulltime and going to school fulltime I still somehow found a way to make valentines cards for my husband and my girls. Now that my oldest daughter has started school I need valentines for her entire class and of course I decided to make those too! In the video, I share some tips for how to mass-produce this Valentine design and my tips for folding the awesome 3D Diamond.

Watch below or on our YouTube channel. First I cut a 20 (10 pink and 10 red) 2.5” x 5.5” stitched rectangles out of red and pink cardstock using a die from Lacy Layers 5x7 dies. Then using stamps from the Enveloper Little Birdie Stamp Set I stamped “to” and “from” on the backs of all the valentines. Once the backs were stamped I passed them to my daughter so she could write her name and then I wrote her classmates’ names. Next, I stamped a burst and gem heart using the Gemstone Stamp Set. For the pink valentines, I stamped the burst and heart in My Pleasure Dye Ink and I used Colorbox Rose Pigment Ink for the red. Next I stamped my sentiment, which is also from the Gemstone Stamp Set in Versafine Onyx Black ink on all the valentines. When all my stamping was done I cut 20 diamonds out of vellum using the 3D Diamond die. I then folded all my diamonds and used score tape to hold them together. But before I adhered them onto the valentines, I popped a small candy (I used Rolos) into back of the diamond. I hope you enjoyed!
