Hello everyone!! It’s Channin here and it’s Technique Tuesday! Today I’m sharing one of my favs Pattern Stamping! I just love this simple technique! I saw Jennifer McGuire use this technique awhile back and I just fell in love with it! It’s a relatively simple technique that yields stunning results and it makes great use of your smaller stamps! In fact I had so much fun playing with this technique that I made two very different cards, one that’s simply embossed but still absolutely beautiful and a second one in which I loosely colored with alcohol markers. I hope you enjoy!

[TT Video] Pattern Stamping and Coloring Outside of the Lines by Channin

Watch below or on our YouTube channel. First, I cut two 5x7 panels, one out of pink cardstock and the other out of white, using the Lacy Layers 5x7 Die. I then created my sentiment using the Balloon Messages Stamp Set and mounted in my MISTI in the center of my panels. I then stamped and embossed it in gold on the pink panel and then stamped it again in black on the white panel. Next, I pulled several floral stamps from the Loved Stamp Set and the Wild & Free Stamp Set and arranged them on lower half of half of my panel. I then stamped and embossed these stamps in white for my pink panel and then in just black for my white panel. Next, I finished up the pink panel with some accents added with a white gel pen. Then, I started coloring the white panel with my alcohol markers. Since several of the floral images are pretty solid with little negative space for coloring I decided to color around the images and to keep thing looking constant I colored around all the images not just the solid ones. This was a fun way to color because I didn’t have to stress about staying within the lines. Once my coloring was complete, I mounted my panels to my card bases and my cards were complete! I hope you enjoy and have a wonderful day!! ~Channin Products: Lacy Layers 5x7 Die Balloon Messages Stamp Set Loved Stamp Set  Wild & Free Stamp Set
