Hello! This is Clara from Bloomize
, and I am overjoyed to be a guest on the Waffle Flower blog today.
stamp set is one of my favorites as there are diverse ways to use the florals and foliage. I've used them to adorn a set of four tags that were die cut from the Surface Tag Die Starter Kit
Besides using plain white cardstock, I have also stamped and die cut on woodgrain (in three shades: white, beige and dark brown) and red cardstock as well. The sentiments were adhered with foam tape. Waxed cotton cords were tied to the ends to compete the tags.
I thought of adding a subtle textural detail on this white tag so I used the sprig die from the coordinating die set to dry emboss on it. This was done twice to make two imprints. After that the cut images were adhered, semi-revealing the embossed impressions in the background.
On this dark brown woodgrain tag, I added the same sprig but die cut from white woodgrain cardstock and with no stamping of the corresponding stamp image. I simply wanted the leaf shape to lend contrast to the arrangement.
Here on these two variations, the blooms and leaves mix and match very nicely no matter which direction they are arranged.
Hope you will enjoy creating with this beautiful stamp set!
