Hello everyone! Its Ashwini here. Thank you so much Waffle Flower Crafts, for having me over as a Guest Designer! I have a couple of cards today with the cute animals from the Monochrome stamp set - wfc-20161017-little-stamps-background-with-monochrome-animals-ashwini-04 I've used some pattern paper and some custom made background for these two cards. I chose all the little stamps from Waffle Flower I could find in my stash (I've used stamps from MonochromeA BunchCongrats and Lacy Flower). wfc-20161017-little-stamps-background-with-monochrome-animals-ashwini-01 I then chose a series of at least 6-8 colors for each card, choosing greens, blues and grey for the card with the zebra and pinks, yellows and grey for the one with the mice (grey makes as good a combination as black with any other color!!) and started stamping on a card panel. wfc-20161017-little-stamps-background-with-monochrome-animals-ashwini-02 Once I was done, I also stamped the cute animals and the speech bubbles + sentiments on scrap cardstock and fussy cut them. I also added a piece of torn vellum for the card with the mice, since the critters themselves are too small to draw focus on them..and the vellum would soften the background and draw the line of sight. wfc-20161017-little-stamps-background-with-monochrome-animals-ashwini-03 Finally, I covered the card base with pattern paper, and then adhered my stamped panels on them before foam mounting the critters and the sentiments, along with some wood veneer embellishments. wfc-20161017-little-stamps-background-with-monochrome-animals-ashwini-05 wfc-20161017-little-stamps-background-with-monochrome-animals-ashwini-06 Did you notice that the cards can easily be interchanged into masculine or feminine cards, based on the colors - for example, the mice card could be made to a Dad card, using the blues and greens instead of the pinks and reds! So easy!! :) Hope you liked the cards I made, and could get some inspiration from them! Thank you so much for having me over today!! Have a great day!
