Hello there! Lorena
here with another idea for Waffle Flower Craft’s My Silly Valentine week. Lots of adorable ideas have been shared so far, and today I bring you a set of mini cards with a fun and cute little scene that can be stamped in no time. They are about 3 ¼ square.
I used Monochrome
, On My Mark
and Rain Check
stamp sets on my mini cards. One of the best things about Waffle Flower’s stamps is how easy it is to combine different sets. Gotta love that!
The first step is adhering a red cardstock square to the card front. After that, I used a simple square die to cut the white panels where the scene is going to be stamped. The first thing I stamped is the fun birdie from Monochrome
set, and then I masked it to stamp a little lawn for him to stand on. The shadow stamp from On My Mark
is perfect for stamping little chunky lawns for critters!
The birdie needs a Valentine gift, right? What about a bunch of love balloons? Yeah, I thought so. To achieve this look, I first stamped the balloons from On My Mark with grey ink straight on the scene, and second, I stamped them again with red ink on a piece of white scrap cardstock, fussy cut them and adhered everything on the scene panel. Before adhering the center balloon I white-heat embossed a heart on it (this one also comes from Monochrome set).
As a final touch, I stamped a cute cloud from Rain Check
. The sentiment is a mix from the “It was love at first sight” stamp in Monochrome
set and “Wrapped with love” from On My Mark
. And yes, I couldn’t resist adding a wiggle eye to the bird. It just cracks me :D
Thanks so much for stopping by!
