[Guest] Doily Circle, 3 Ways with Ashwini Rao
Hello everyone! Its Ashwini for my second (and last! Sniff!) post as a Guest Designer! Today, I am sharing a few cards using the Waffle Flower Crafts Doily Circle. This is a die that I really love, but haven't made many projects out of - so I challenged myself to use this die in a variety of ways - 3 ways in fact. So here goes - Technique 1 - Aluminum foil Using aluminum foil might be an old techqniue, but it is new for me! :) Moreover, since this is such an intricate die, I learnt a thing or...
[Guest] Little Stamps Background with Monochrome Animals by Ashwini Rao
Hello everyone! Its Ashwini here. Thank you so much Waffle Flower Crafts, for having me over as a Guest Designer! I have a couple of cards today with the cute animals from the Monochrome stamp set - I've used some pattern paper and some custom made background for these two cards. I chose all the little stamps from Waffle Flower I could find in my stash (I've used stamps from Monochrome, A Bunch, Congrats and Lacy Flower). I then chose a series of at least 6-8 colors for each card, choosing greens, blues and grey for the card with the zebra and pinks, yellows and grey for the...
A Card, A Sneak Peek + A Winner!
Happy friday, everyone! Nina here! I'm snowed under with the preparation of our July release so we will skip this week's Five for Friday post. But I still found time to create a quick card for our current Waffle Flower Challenge! You have until Sunday, June 7 to enter! I drew inspiration from the colors and the doily floor mat for my card. Pretty straight forward, isn't it? I heat embossed the zebra and the flower in white on vellum for a soft look. Our Doily Square Die just makes everything prettier! Thank you for stopping by! Find time to create and...
[Guest] One Stamp Three Ways - Yana Smakula
Hello everyone! We have three cheerful cards from Yana for you today! We especially love how she used the banner stamp from our Congrats Stamp Set on all three cards. Card 1: Celebrate Yana stamped the solid banner on the lower right of the white panel in yellow and the "Celebrate" sentiment in black on top. This pop of color ties the sentiment back to the flower bouquet (from A Bunch Stamp Set), which is also colored in pink/yellow. Yana also heat embossed the flowers in silver to add more pizazz to her card. Did you notice that Yana left the top portion...

Faber-Castell & Waffle Flower Inspiration Week - Day 2 - Mixed Media for Beginners
Hello everyone! Welcome to day 2 of Faber-Castell and Waffle Flower Inspiration Week! We team up with our friends at Faber-Castell Design Memory Craft to bring you an entire week of mixed-media inspiration! We have Katie here today! Mixed Media for Beginners Hello crafty friends! Katie here. When I heard that Waffle Flower Crafts was partnering with Faber-Castell, I was really excited, but also a little bit scared. I have a confession, mixed media isn’t really my thing. Don’t get me wrong. I think it’s GORGEOUS, and I greatly admire others that have mad art skills, but whenever I try my hand at some of...
