Hi everyone! It's Stephanie here and I am thrilled to be back guest designing with Waffle Flower! I decided to create one more Easter themed card since it's this weekend. I used the Egg Hunt stamp set along with the Mini Trifold Notes die to create a fun interactive card. EggHunt To create my card, I first cut out 4 mini envelopes with various colours of patterned paper and then I scored and folded them all so they were ready to go. Once I had the envelopes done, I stamped 4 of the tiny patterned eggs from the Egg Hunt stamp set onto white cardstock and coloured them all in with Copic markers. To make sure everything matched I used colours that were similar to the colours of the envelopes. EggHuntClose2 The little eggs were the perfect size to fit in the tiny slots to close the envelopes, so I adhered them onto the top flaps so they could slide into the slots and keep the envelopes closed on the card. To make the card fun for the recipient and play on the egg hunt theme of the card, I included stamped eggs and messages inside each of the envelopes that are all visible when the envelopes are opened. EggHuntClose Once the envelopes were done, I adhered a white grid patterned paper panel to a green piece of patterned paper and then adhered the whole panel to a top-folding card base. I stamped the sentiment on the bottom right corner of the grid panel with black ink and then I adhered the envelopes onto the card. I completed the card by adding some sequins scattered around the envelope. Thanks so much for joining me today! I'll be back next month to share some more card ideas. ;) -Stephanie --- Thank you so much for sharing with us today, Stephanie! We love that you stamped the inside of the notes! So fun and cute!

Hi everyone! It’s Torico here and I am so thrilled to be guest designing for Waffle Flower! As Easter is just around the corner, I decided to create an Easter themed shaker card for today. WFC160322-1 First I stamped the grass image from the Egg Hunt stamp set repeatedly on a white panel and colored them with Copics. After I masked them, I daubed some light pink dye ink and stamped the sentiment in black. I cut another white panel and cut out a rectangle window from it using the Lacy Layers Die. After I added a piece of acetate to the window I adhered a yellow scalloped frame cut with the Lacy Layers Die. WFC160322-2 For my shaker elements I put several Easter eggs along with some sequins and glitters. I white embossed the eggs from the Egg Hunt stamp set onto colored card stock (pink, purple, and aqua), colored some part of them with Copics, and cut them out using the matching die. WFC160322-3 I stamped, colored, and die cut Clair from the Willy & Friends stamp set, and gave her a pair of cute bunny ears from the Welcome Spring stamp set. She looks like she is enjoying an Easter egg hunt! Thank you for stopping by! -Torico

Hi everyone! It's Stephanie here and I am thrilled to be guest designing with Waffle Flower! For my first card I decided to go Easter themed with the new Egg Hunt stamp set. I love the fun basket in this set and the eggs that can be tucked inside. Easter To create my card, I added a soft blend of purple and aqua to a white cardstock panel using Distress Inks and then I matted the panel onto a white cardstock panel before adhering it to an aqua top-folding card base. I stamped the basket, bow and eggs onto white cardstock and coloured them in with Copic markers. I then cut a slit into the basket using a craft knife so I could tuck the easter eggs inside. I adhered the bow to the front of the basket with foam adhesive for some added dimension and then I added some white details to some of the eggs and the bow using a white gel pen. I stamped two of the smaller eggs and coloured them in with Copic markers as well. EasterClose I adhered the finished basket to the inked panel I created earlier and then I added the two smaller eggs around it to make it look like they had fallen out of the basket. I completed the card by stamping the sentiment from the stamp set onto a white banner piece with black ink and then I adhered it to the top left area of the card. Thank you so much for joining me today! I'll be back soon with another card to share! ;) --- Thank you for sharing with us today, Stephanie! We love how you customized the images with a white gel pen! Find time to create and make something today!
