Products Leafy Stamp Set Good Stuff Die Doily Square Die

What Marcie Says: I have never snipped apart the super fun Doily Square Die because it's just so awesome as it is! After die-cutting it several times out of various colours and the main white panel, I pieced it all back together. The small star from the Good Stuff Die set was a perfect little piece to inlay into one of the circles. A sweet sentiment and some glitter along the bottom finish it off.

Products Tribal Bear Stamp Set Tiny Die Trio

What Daria Says: I used Tiny Dies Trio to make my inlaid die-cutting and heat embossed Lovely bear from Tribal Bear Stamp Set. I think that is one of my all time favorite combination: craft+white+gold :)

Shona Chambers

Products Doily Square Die Perfect Word Die Congrats Stamp Set

What Shona Says: I used the Doily Square Die, along with the Perfect Word Die and stamps from the Congrats Stamp Set. I die-cut the middle diamond shape first and added a panel behind it before I die-cut the outer frame. That way the whole panel didn’t fall to pieces and turn into a jigsaw puzzle!!

Ong York Tee

Using Rock My World Die Set, Good Stuff Die Set, Calendar Stamp Set, Winter Blend Inkpad
What York Tee Says: I created two of my very own one-of-a-kind stencils using Rock My World Die Set and Good Stuff Die Set. I die cut the rocks all over a 41/2"x 6" cardstock randomly and I called it Rock Tee's World. I used the Rock Tee's World stencil, a few shades of purple inks and color shine mist to create the patterned rock background for my birthday card. Then, I used the stencil created by using Good Stuff Die Set to add a little touch for my calendar. WFC- 1-18-York Tee

Isha Gupta

Using Doily Square Die, In Every Way Stamp Set, Congrats Stamp Set
What Isha Says: I used the die to make my stencil and then sponged to create an almost one layer card :) WFC-1-18-Isha Gupta

Tessa Wise

Using Tribal Pattern Die, Amazing Word Die, Tribal Bear Stamp Set
What Tessa Says: I created a stencil by cutting the Tribal Pattern Die out of acetate. Using washi tape to hold it in place, I blended ink from the Hero Arts Grape Purple Ombre ink pad over the stencil and on to the cardstock below. The stenciling left a soft pattern of the intricate design on my card. WFC-1-18-Tessa Wise

Happy Monday, everyone! Time for some inspiration from the Challenge Team! Isha, York Tee and Tessa are here to share their takes on the December Waffle Flower Challenge! Join the fun by linking your projects to our challenge too! wfc201512 Isha Gupta Products: In Every Way Stamp Set, Congrats Stamp Set, Lotus Stamp Set What Isha Says: The flowers from the In Every Way Stamp Set were made for layering! I used them to create this fun and colorful background. WFC-12-21-Isha Gupta York Tee Products: Good Stuff Stamp Set, Tribal Bear Stamp Set, Good Stuff Die, and the Winter Blend Inkpad What York Tee Says: I applied three different Stamp Layering techniques for this Christmas card – layering using two step stamping set, one layered stamping and layering of grey pigment ink with colorful dye ink. First, I used Good Stuff Stamp Set to stamp the outlines of the bottle and the solid body and lid of the bottle. Then, I stamped randomly variety shape of stars and snowflakes using different colored ink on top of each other. For second and third, I layered a white tag on top of my white card base and stamped on the layers at the same time. After finished all the stamping, I layered a grey colored tag in between. Regarding the stamping, I stamped the lined patterns from Tribal Bear Stamp set with grey pigment ink and stamped over the background with colorful dye inks and watercolor strokes. WFC-12-21-York Tee Tessa Wise Products: Notions Stamp Set, Doily Circle Stamp Set What Tessa Says: I started by stamping the doily circle with white pigment ink onto my white card base. I let it dry completely and then went over it with some light pink ink. The white ink resists the pink. Next I stamped the threads in some fun colors. Last, I added the sentiment with black ink. I embellished with a few little heart stickers to finish it off. WFC-12-21-Tessa Wise Hope you are inspired to try the stamp layering technique! Find time to create and make something today!

Happy Monday, everyone! Time for some inspiration from the Challenge Team! Marcie, Daria and Shona are here to share their takes on the December Waffle Flower Challenge! Join the fun by linking your projects to our challenge too! wfc201512 Our guest designer for this month: Lydia Evans has a cute video for us with lots of great tips! Marcie Sharp

Products: Good Stuff Stamp Set, Starry Night Stamp Set, Magical Word Die What Marcie Says: Layering stamps can be so fun when perfectly crafted sets do most of the work for you! I easily stamped the jar and layers from "Good Stuff" in various ink colours, then layered some tiny stars from Starry Night over top. Choosing your ink colours carefully to make sure they layer well and work together is a must! WFC-12-14-Marcie Sharp Filled with "Magic"?! We love that Marcie carefully trimmed "Magical" word die for her sentiment!

Daria Garushina

Products: Tribal Bear Stamp Set, Leafy Stamp Set What Daria Says: I used the blanket from Tribal Bear stamp set, and stamped it with white pigment ink over kraft cardstock - that is one of my favorite techniques, and then stamped over it with different colors of inks... Love the effect :) WFC-12-14-Daria Grushina The entire Tribal Bear Stamp Set is about layering! We love Daria's choice of colors and that pop of teal and white under the sentiment!

Shona Chambers

Products: Stocking Stamp Set, Stocking Die What Shona Says: I wanted to create the look of pine branches on a mantel (from which the stocking is hung) and was going to use different green colours to get some variation but found that as I overlapped (layered) the stamping, it created darker and lighter areas on its own. WFC-12-21-Shona ChambersJust like what Shona says, one of the benefits of stamp layering is that you can get different shades of color using one ink pad! Hope you are inspired to try the stamp layering technique! Find time to create and make something today!

I stamped the bear image first in center. Using masking paper I stamped the bear again and covered so I could create this fun feather wreath around the bear. Stamp the feather image twice on masking paper and trim. Stamp cover..stamp cover. You can use the same masking paper several times.
WFC-11-9- Annette Allen

Using: Tribal Bear Stamp Set; Tribal Thank You Stamp Set; Tribal Bear Die

Shelly Kurth
I started by stamping on my leaves on multiple post it notes and cutting them out for the masks. After, I stamped my first leaf on my card where I wanted it. Then used a mask and stamped on my next leaf. I continued this process until I was happy with the amount of leaves I had and being sure to leave some space to add my monkeys in.

Hello everyone! Waffle Flower friend Kay Miller is on the blog today! Kay rocked our Tribal Bear Stamp Set and matching dies. If you missed her other card, you can find it here! KayM-TribalBear Hello! I am thrilled to be guesting with Waffle Flower this month! For my card today, I used the Tribal Bear stamp set and matching dies. I first created a background by stamping  the rug pattern across my white panel in a diagonal pattern with a light grey ink. Next, I stamped the bear and feathers onto watercolor paper, with waterproof ink, and watercolored them with Peerless watercolors. I cut them out with the matching dies, and adhered them to my panel with foam tape. Next I stamped the three separate sentiments onto dark brown card stock, embossed them with white embossing ink and cut them out like  banners. I adhered these to my panel with foam tape as well. Lastly I added the whole white panel to a top folded A2 size card base. KayM-TribalBear2 Thanks so much for stopping by, and a huge thanks to Waffle Flower for having me as their guest today! :) - Kay   Thank you for sharing with us today, Kay! You rock!

Polar Bear Christmas Card

DesignTeamHeadshots-LorenaCanto Hello, Waffle Flower friends! Lorena here with a little idea to stretch some of the stamps from our latest release. I should probably be posting Halloween ideas, but I’ve decided to skip that and embrace an early Christmas spirit. Actually, if I were in charge, it would be Christmas all year round. Who’s with me? *wink*   Ok, so let’s talk today’s card. A couple of days ago I had a lightbulb moment and decided that the little guy from Tribal Bear stamp set would make an awesome polar bear. And it did! I stamped the bear, die cut it with the coordinating die set and added some festive green and red to his necklace. bearBut then (and believe me, this doesn’t happen often) I had a second lightbulb moment. Would the cutie Santa hat from Stocking stamp set fit on the bear’s head? Well… it did! I also used the Stocking die to cut the hat and colored it with Copic markers. Isn’t it wonderful when a crafty idea turns out awesome? bear 2The sentiment also comes from Stocking stamp set. As for the background, I masked a snow drift, sponged light blue ink and then added the falling snow using a stencil and white texture paste. Now that I think of it, I barely see people using it anymore… is it “totes 2014” and I’m completely out of the loop? Or can it be considered a classic now? bear 3Anyhow, I had lots of fun making this card and putting the versatile new Waffle Flower stamps to work. Thanks so much for visiting! Thank you for sharing with us today, Lorean! Find time to create and make something today!

[Guest] Magical Birthday Card by Kay Miller

Hello everyone! Waffle Flower friend Kay Miller is on the blog today! We are so glad to see some of our seasonal products used on a birthday card! KayM-TribalPattern Hello! I am thrilled to be guesting with Waffle Flower this month! For my first card I used the Tribal Pattern die, The Tribal Bear stamp set, and the Magical stamp set. I started by blending Distress inks onto a piece of watercolor paper. I used Peacock Feathers, Peeled Paint, Crushed Olive, Mustard Seed, and Spiced Marmalade. I then speckled it with water and some of the same colors that I had used to blend, then let this dry very well. I then cut the Tribal Patterned die out, and I glued this to the front of my top folded A2 size card base. I stamped the feathers from the Tribal Bear stamp set onto some of the paper that I had used the Distress inks on, and embossed this with white embossing powder. I cut those out with the matching dies and adhered them to my card with foam tape. I then stamped the two sentiments from the Magical stamp set onto some dark brown card stock, and embossed them with white embossing powder. I cut those out, and adhered them below the feathers with foam tape. KayM-TribalPattern2 - Kay   Thank you for sharing with us today, Kay! Your creation is delightful as always!
