I just started with watercolors and have been experimenting some cool techniques. I want to share the simple wet into wet technique painting a loose flower field today!
Here's a quick process animation - may take a few seconds to load!
That was my 20 minutes of fun and I learned a little more about my paints!
After that, I diecut the panel out using the biggest die from A2 Nested Domes Die and topped it with our A2 Arch Window Die for a card:
Sentiment from Smiling Stamp Set.

Interesting card! I’m definitely a Copics person but watercolor is also fun.

This was just mesmerizing to watch! I could watch it nonstop. I only wish I could do the same with my watercolors, but I have not been able to. Would you be willing to explain the process a little in the comments or slow down the video and show us how you achieved that look? How much do you wet the background? I must not be adding enough water… or too much water. I never know! LOL In any case, I love how you spotlighted your background with the arch window die.
My favorite coloring medium at the moment is my Gansai watercolors (even if they give me fits at times). LOL
