I just started with watercolors and have been experimenting some cool techniques. I want to share the simple wet into wet technique painting a loose flower field today!
Here's a quick process animation - may take a few seconds to load!
That was my 20 minutes of fun and I learned a little more about my paints!
After that, I diecut the panel out using the biggest die from A2 Nested Domes Die and topped it with our A2 Arch Window Die for a card:
Sentiment from Smiling Stamp Set.

I love how almost dummy-proof your background watercoloring is. Lay down water, add color, stop when you like how it looks. I think this is going to be my technique to try tomorrow!
Denise Terry on
Right now my favorite is copic markers.

Love your sweet watercolor card!
I am still loving my Copics (and a few
other brands of alcohol markers). I find
it fairly easy to blend with them.

I love your quick video showing us what you did! Too bad it takes me a million minutes times what you did to get a working card! ha. I like the stained glass effect you had in this color challenge card. Very awesome. I like water colors but am not good at it. I think I like the Copic best; but because I have been at it for years. I will keep plodding along with the water colors. Thanks!
