Friendship Star Shaker Card by Laurie Willison

Hello everyone! We have another guest today!
I get giddy every time I receive a blog update from Laurie in my inbox. I love her clean and graphic style. The way she pulls things together always inspires me. Like the card she made for Curtain Call Challenge here (as shown above), she used a qtip and the ink colors to make some brush strokes and then topped it with vellum! Such a beautiful result! While you are at her blog, don't forget to check out the Card Hanger Dies Laurie designed! Now, let's get to her fun shaker card for today!
To make the stars on the inside of the shaker, here is what I did. I colored little patches of color in a rainbow on white card stock.
I used the little star die and cut out 2 of each color. This saved me so much time and I had just the right colors all lined up to go.
I took a piece of white card stock and stamped this ADORABLE sentiment and then added the "stars" in red. I absolutely love this sentiment! I can see making lots of card with this set. I piled up all the star pieces onto the sentiment panel and then lined a frame with foam tape after adhering a piece of acetate to the front.
To finish up the card, I attached the frame to the sentiment panel to make the shaker portion of the card. Using my ATG, I attached the shaker box right to the front of my card, lined with the sunburst pattern paper.
I hope you like today's creation. I will have another Waffleflower creation or 2 up soon! School is starting soon for the kiddos and that means a little more crafty time for me! :)

Friendship Star Shaker Card
HI there Waffleflower friends! I am thrilled to be stopping by today to share a shaker card I made up using Nina's gorgeous new stamps! Today I am using the new set called Starry Night and the Tiny Star Die to make a fun shaker card. First off here is my card...
