[Guest] Merry Christmas Card by Kay Miller
Hello everyone! We have Kay back on the blog today!
Hello! I am excited to be back on the Waffle Flower blog today to share with you a card I created using the super fun Stocking stamp set and dies!
I started with some watercolor paper and blended some Crushed Olive and Peacock Feathers Distress Inks on the top left corner, then sprinkled with water to get the little white spots. I let this dry very well and in the mean time worked on coloring the cute stocking and filling it with presents and Christmas goodies! I used my Copic markers for all of the coloring, then cut everything out with the matching dies. I glued the little packages, candy cane and tree to the back of the stocking, then added foam tape to the whole thing and adhered it to my sponged piece. I stamped the sentiment from the same stamp set in black ink along the bottom and then added a few clear 4mm sequins for a festive touch.
I hope you have enjoyed my card today.
Thank you for stopping by, and huge thanks to the great people at Waffle Flower Crafts for inviting me to guest with them!
