Hello everyone! Welcome to Day 2 of Waffle Flower Crafts August/September 2014 Release! We will introduce our new products from August 1st to 4th with giveaways on each day. All products will be available in our store on August 5. We have 4 stamp sets and 4 die sets in this release. Today's sets were illustrated by Mia Charro. We wanted to provide a happy summer scene building set.

Riverside Stamp Set

The river and mountains are designed to be stamped in two steps (see sample below).

The river die in the Riverside Die set has nice debossed details. The dies can be used on their own.

Sample Projects

1. Use the stamps only.

The river and the mountains were stamped in two steps. The tent was paper pieced. The texture was added using the big circle from our Flower Circles Stamp Set. I then added the scallop frame from our Surface - Tag Die - Scallop Add-on to frame the scene. Working with this stamp set makes me happy!

2. Use the dies.

The river was die cut from white cardstock and then colored with Distress Ink. It is hard to see from the photo but I also die cut the river from clear acetate to give it a nice water-like shine: The only stamps I used were the fish and sentiment.

3. A Simple Project

I tried to use as many stamps/dies as possible in my last two cards but I also want to show you how cute the images are for quick and easy projects.

I stamped the big circle from Flower Circles Stamp Set with pink ink, punch out with a 2" circle punch and then stamped the cloud/pond and fish with black ink. Joni from our design team is also sharing a card today!
