Twelve Days of Gift Giving - Day 2 - Gift Boxes with Holiday Labels by Suzanne Dahlberg
1·November 02, 2014

Hi everyone- welcome to Day 2 of Waffle Flower Crafts Twelve Days of Gift Giving! It's
Suzanne here! Today I am sharing some fun handmade gift boxes using the We R Memory Keepers Gift Box Punch Board and some fun Waffle Flower Crafts stamp sets. I have to be honest and say that I wasn't sure what to expect with the gift box maker, but honestly - SO EASY and SO FUN! I really love how fast the boxes were to assemble.
If you are new to paper crafting, please check out our
Scoring Board Basics to get started.

Another great thing about the box maker is that it tells you very clearly what you need to do to make boxes in a wide variety of sizes (20 total different sizes, I believe!). Above, the red box is sized 4x4x4 inches (which would be great for a large ornament), and below the pink box is sized 1.75x1.75x1.75 inches square (which would be perfect for a pair of earrings). Another great thing about the boxes: these were assembled without any adhesive - the way the punch board makes the creases and slits for fast assembly is genius!

I made some coordinating tags using the label image from
Holiday Labels - Give Thanks stamp set, the
Calendar Numbers stamp set, and the
Holiday Label 1 die.

Really, with some fun patterned paper you can really make your gifts shine this Christmas! Here I've used mostly Lawn Fawn 12x12 papers, but the pink houndstooth pattern is from Echo Park. And we all have tons of ribbon and twine to match, right? :)

Thanks very much for visiting today - I hope we've inspired you to come back for the rest of the Gift Giving series!
