The Tiny Square Texture Die and its five coordinating stencil sets are backgrounds inspired by classic quilting patterns. Like many of our newer texture dies, it doesn’t cut the outer edges. We recommend centering the die over a piece of cardstock trimmed to 4.25” x 5.5” (A2 size) to create a full panel—or, offsetting the die for more layout options. You can use the panel on its own or with any of the coordinating stencils for a quick and colorful background.

Getting Started Guide

Wafer Thin Craft Dies

  • Use with a desktop roller-style die-cutting machine.
  • Works with cardstock, paper, vellum, felt, and other thin craft materials.
  • Hold in place with low-tack tape to minimize shifting.
  • For intricate designs, a cardstock or metal shim, or an extra pass, may help.
  • Use a die pick or brush tool to remove small pieces.
  • Waffle Flower dies are already de-tabbed. For storage, tape them to a piece of cardstock or use a magnetic sheet.

fantastic variety of options

I love this texture plate. It gives a great impressions. Because there are no edge cuts, you can only impress part of the pattern making it look like you are partially finished with your quilt. The fact that there are so many stencils that work with this same size makes this an incredible value.
