As always with Waffleflower, these dies are made from super strong metal, nothing flimsy about it at all! I bought the bears for myself and the pups for my friends who have always owned black labs. I'm sending the die set to them and including a made up card BUT with ideas. All of us know they always have black labs, when you imagine these friends you also imagine their dogs right there. So, on my idea sample, I cut the pups out of black card stock highlighted with Distress Black Soot ink. Then I cut a few curved pieces, sort of like the bottom half of a wreath, to drape around their neck (but did not attach it). Then on one of the curved pieces I glued leaves and flowers (Spring-like); on another I glued holly leaves and berries; on another birthday stuff--my friend can draw much better than me so I included a party hat cutout and told her she can create an actual one to put on the dogs' heads. The strips are hidden by the decorations, so no worries about it being perfect. I wanted her to know that these pups dies could be used on a regular basis for every occasion under the sun and that the pups would be sort of their signature, sort of like personal stationery, only shaped like pups instead of a printed name.
