9x12 Media Mat (was Stencil Mat)
The recessed work area measures approximately 9”x12” (23 cm X 30 cm)
Two raised edges form a corner to help hold the stencil/paper in place
Two open ends that allow you to use stencil/paper at bigger sizes.
Non-slip back allows the mat to stay in place during use
Releases most stencil pastes and paints easily when dried.
Cold and heat resistant from -49ºF to 446ºF (-45ºC to 230ºC)
Clean with a dampened, lint-free cloth or oil-free cleaning wipe.
In between uses, store flat in the storage bag included.
Warnings:
- Some types of colored media/pigments may stain your mat. Staining does not change the properties of the mat.
- Avoid direct contact with sharp-edged tools such as pencils and knives. They will damage your mat.
- Oil-based products (including gel plates and some cleaners) can chemically damage the mat, causing unwanted swelling as it absorbs into the silicone.
I really like the stencil mat. It stays in place while holding the grip mat and the stencils that I am working with. It is large enough that I can put my ink pads/brushes on as well keeping my desk cleaner.

I love the media and stencil mat's from Waffle Flower. Even though I have a desk that is close to indestructible, having this stencil mat helps me to keep my inky and other messes contained and makes clean up much easier because I can just pick up the mat, take it to the sink, and rinse it off. I have noticed that while some inks will stain the mat over time, that's all it is -- a stain, and nothing ever seems to dry on the mat. Or, if it does, it's very easy to peel off -- I'm talking to you glitter paste! Lastly, having the open corner for larger projects and right angle corner for lining paper up is genius. I started with the mini media mat and am so happy I took the plunge to invest in the stencil mat because the larger canvas is exactly what I needed.

I love my stencil mat!! It holds card stock, stencils, and ink pads in place and has a nice corner for lining up layers. I have used it with different types of ink, paper glaze, glitter gel, and liquid glue. It cleans up so easily. It does stain but does not transfer ink to the next project. So glad I got this! It’s a permanent fixture on my craft table.

Love the size of this mat. It moves easily in and out of my work space. The square corner as well as the natural grip holds my work for stencils and ink blending. Highly recommend as a must-have.

I love this! I love the "ledge" and the fact that it has a raised corner. I've only had a few weeks and it's been used A LOT as I made tags for Halloween Treat Jars.

This mat is great! I use it for stenciling all the time. By having this mat, I don't have to waste paper to put underneath while using a stencil. I really like the lip that allows you to put the stencil right up in the corner.
