Unexpected Supplies!
For August, we challenge you to create a project using unexpected supplies. It could be cards, layouts or any paper crafting projects.
This week's inspiration is brought to you by our design team member Rachel and her co-host Sphoorti!
Their twist was to make a project using craft foam cut out of dies for stamps as some elements in their cards.!

I am always looking for ways to stretch my dies and this was a perfect opportunity to play with this process. Check out a couple of my cards that I created.
- I double layered the foam so that it would be easier to stamp (and the ink around the stamp on the stamping tool wouldn't get on the paper).
- The foam holds onto a lot of the ink from the ink pads, and you can get triple, quadruple and many more stamps with lighter colors and variations out of it.
- The texture of the foam also contributes to the look of the stamp. Very cool dotted effect when stamped with little ink.
- You can use the front or the back of the dies to stamp - so you get mirror images! Helps stretch the supplies.
- You can use the adhesive to structure the foam die cuts in different ways to get even more different looks.
