Welcome to Waffle Flower Monthly Challenges Inspiration Week 1!
Christmas!
For July, we challenge you to create a Christmas theme on a project. It could be cards, layouts or any paper crafting projects.
This week's inspiration is brought to you by our design team member Rachel and her co-hosts Enna and Xenia!
Their twist is to make a project using unconventional Christmas colors!

This week we challenge you to make Christmas projects using unconventional Christmas colors or what you believe is not conventional for Christmas. Let's have some fun and test some new color combos!!!

I’ve wanted to do something a bit different with the Color Combos dies for a while…something other than swatching, so that the result can be put on display rather than hidden in my swatch books. Instead of building a dimensional white on white background as I originally planned, I was inspired by JJ’s series, in which she lined up supplies of a particular color into a composed square. And, how fortuitous is the fact that my new Christmas sentiment set happened to have a few stamps that fit into the grid perfectly? I think I’m done with wrapping presents for the year!

Have you ever tried to use the same material, but in different ways? That is what I tried with my take on the challenge. On my first card, I stamped and coloured the gnomes with copic markers. On the second one I used the paper piecing technique. It's a fun way to get colour from pattern paper.
Which option do you like the most?
