April Challenge Week 1

This week’s challenge is hosted by our design team member Channin and her co-hosts Beata and Elle!

The team challenges you to incorporate a pastel color palette into your design.

Channin

Design Team, Challenge Host  (Instagram)

I chose a pastel rainbow pastel (one of my favorites) to create a sweet and cheery birthday card. I started by picking five ink colors to make up my palette, then used the colors to ink blend a soft confetti background with the new Confetti Stencil Duo. I finished the card with images from the adorable We Herd Stamp Set also colored in pastel colors and with a sentiment from the new Oversized Smile Combo.

Soft pastels always make me think of spring, with delicate flower buds blooming and peeking through the snow. And where there are flowers, there are fairies ready to play! I was inspired to create a simple magical scene using my favorite pastel tones.
