April Challenge Week 4
This week’s challenge is hosted by our design team member Galina and her co-hosts Allison and Mona
This week we challenge you to to create a color crush card! Use your favorite color throughout your card.

My favorite color is dark blue and on my card I used all shades of it. I heat embossed (with gold powder) a few leaves and flowers from the Simple Stem Stamp set. I colored them with alcohol based markers and cut out with matching dies. To create the card background I used alcohol inks and then cut out a hexagon panel. Also, I cut out black glitter letters using the alphabet dies. I finished my card by adding clear enamel dots.

My favorite color is turquoise. I love wearing it, I love decorating with it, and I love crafting with it. I chose to make a card using the Stars Panel die so that I could feature every turquoise shade of card stock that I own. I created a textured pattern with two layers of white stars, and then I added the turquoise stars in between. With all of the different colored panels I had leftover, I decided to make another card - this time, a shaker card. I love how the panel die makes 2-for-1 cards so easy. And in this case, I still have 5 panels left for future projects.

For this challenge, I chose my favorite color Turquoise to make a Clean and Simple card. I started by stamping the unicorn and wand from the Be Her stamp set and colored them with Copic markers (BG10, BG11, BG13, BG18). Next, I used the A2 Layers dies along with the Nesting Circle dies to cut out the card panel. I adhered this to a turquoise polka dot panel from the Half-Half Dots Unicorn Paper Pad with some foam tape. I finished the card by adding the images into the window and a sentiment from the Tender Blooms stamp set underneath.
