Hi all! If you’ve just dropped in today, you’ll see that we’ve been chatting all about the Waffle Flower October release this week! Today we’re rounding out the final Christmas goodies in this release with 4 new dies, 2 stamp sets, and more pattern paper!
See the other October Intro posts here:
Let’s start off with the 3 (yes 3!) awesome panel dies! We love the versatility of a good panel die. As die cuts, they make great backgrounds for word die cuts and other focal elements. For a more subtle look, they work double time as impression plates. And, of course, they look amazing layered over colored or blended backgrounds and pattern paper. This month we have the Christmas Tree Panel Die, Winter Floral Panel Die, and the Angled Stripe Die.
Christmas Tree Panel Die
The Christmas Tree Panel Die (by cardmaker
JJ Bolton) features a full panel design of mini Christmas trees with stitching detail around the edges. This one will definitely catch the eye of the fans of clean and modern!
Winter Floral Panel Die
Next in line is the Winter Floral Panel Die (by cardmaker
JJ Bolton). This intricate panel die is a fresh and modern take on a folk art design with cutout shapes of petals, leaves, and berries. This is one of those timeless designs that works well for the holidays or any time of year!
Angled Stripe Panel Die
The last panel die in the bunch is the Angled Stripe Panel Die. Now you’re saying to yourself “hmmm, that doesn’t scream Christmas to me” and you’re right! That is, until you add the new Christmas Stripes Pattern Paper! The new Christmas Stripe Paper Pad is the Christmas version of the previously released JJ’s Rainbow Paper Pad. Instead of rainbow colors, this one features lots of traditional red and green with some frosty blues and festive pinks thrown in. The Angled Stripe Panel Die has been designed to perfectly layer with any of the diagonal stripe pages in the pad. It’s a match made in card maker’s heaven!
$10; 3 sheets each of 12 coordinating designs; each page measures 5.5"x8.5"
As part of our Creative Bundle this month, the Angled Stripe Panel Die is one of the most versatile!
Diagonal Stripes Die
If you want something a bit more adventurous than the pattern paper, we’ve also got the Diagonal Stripes Die. The Diagonal Stripes die is the next offering in the stripe builder series by cardmaker
JJ Bolton. It cuts an A2-size panel into 10 diagonal stripes. You can use all of the stripes to create a full background (works as a layer under the Angled Stripe Panel Die) or use select pieces for sentiment strips and accent stripes. No complicated measuring and cutting, just perfect stripes every time!
Now that your backgrounds are taken care of, you’re going to need sentiments, right? This month, we have some classic sentiment options that can be used year after year.
Merry Christmas
4" x 6" stamp set ($16); word die ($14); Combo ($28)

The Merry Christmas Sentiments and word die combo includes a large focal “Merry Christmas” stamp and word die. Also included are an array of smaller sentiments and sentiment banners to customize your cards.

We love the white on white texture JJ created using the Winter Floral Panel Die.

Big Dots Holiday
4" x 6" stamp set ($16)

We also have the Big Dots Holiday Stamp Set. This set is done in the same design as the previously released Big Dots Sentiments with a clean modern font that fits the Big Dots Panel Die and lots of other frame dies.

Whew! That was a full day, wasn’t it? We’ve got just a few more items in this release to share on Monday and Tuesday before the full release and Blog Hop on Wednesday, October 7th!
