Celebrating 6 Years of Fun - Waffle Flower Design Team
Hello everyone! Nina here!
Hope this post finds you well. Waffle Flower is turning 6 in April and we want to celebrate it with you by sharing more inspiring samples and lots of giveaways!
First, we want to say a big thank you to our design team members!
Alix Davis
Alix lives in Sacramento, Sunny California. She has a 13 years old daughter, a supportive loving husband and two furry kitties. She’s a full time dental hygienist and an Etsy shop owner. She started her crafting journey back in 2013 with scrapbooking and it turned into mainly cardmaking in 2016. She loves coloring and making arts on an A2 sized card. She also loves to share her ideas and works with everyone.
Arjita Sepaha Singh
Arjita is a new member to our team starting this April! Professionally speaking, Arjita is in the field of early childhood education since 2006 and holds an MBA in IT. Ever since she discovered the world of stamping and cardmaking, she enjoy them above everything else. It is extremely rewarding to her whenever she sees someone happy and inspired because of her work.
She's fond of cooking and traveling to exotic places. She lives in the city of lakes Bhopal, India with her daughter, husband and two lovely dogs.
Channin Pelletier
Channin's been with us since 2016. She lives in sunny Arizona with her husband and their two daughters. She’s a long time stamper and papercrafter. She actually started back in junior high by carving her own stamps from erasers to create handmade cards and scrapbook pages. Her current crafty obsession is cardmaking!! Channin loves clean and simple designs, coloring critters and flowers, and even constructing interactive cards! But overall she loves trying to come up with designs that are unique or unexpected!
Elyse Robinson
Elyse has been making cards since 2016 when she discovered Kristina Werner and Jennifer McGuire on YouTube, and has never looked back. She is Elyse Hope Designs on Instagram and YouTube. Elyse loves modern card making techniques, especially clean and simple cards. Professionally, she works in marketing and business development for a demographic and geographic data company. Elyse lives in Fort Worth, Texas, with her husband and their dog, Charlie.
Galina Filippenko
Originally from Ukrain, Galina has been living in Poland for the last two years. She has a cat - Sir Oliver, scottish fold, as her main helper in the craft room :) Most of all she loves making cards, tags and gift boxes. She’s obsessed with coloring and coloring mediums. From time to time, she would go back to her mixed-media past and make some super colorful canvases or layered cards :) Her first international position as a guest designer was with us, Waffle Flower, back in 2016.
Jeanne Jachna
Jeanne is also a new member to our team! She lives in Northwest Indiana near Chicago with her DH and one very large fur baby – an Akita she calls Miss Moriko. She likes to read, garden and cook but she has been completely captivated by card making and paper crafts. She loves to mix and match different pattern papers and can’t resist a rainbow of colors. Her time crafting is a sweet escape and a fun way to express herself. She feels blessed with the many friends she's made who share her paper crafting obsession and she can’t wait to share her creations with you.
JJ Bolton
JJ is also a product designer for us since this 2019. She’s a science nerd by day, but she’s been designing since 2003 when she started a custom ribbon business with her sister. Her love for design eventually led her to papercrafting and she’s been hooked ever since. Her style leans clean and simple with dashes of rainbow colors and LOTS of die cutting. She’s originally from Hawaii and currently live in Virginia just outside of Washington, DC. When she’s not crafting or designing, she’s enjoying time with her husband, two sons and doggie cooper.
Keeway Tsao
Keeway is a papercrafting addict from sunny California! She enjoys coloring, doodling, stamping and paper crafting during her free time and loves being a part of the card making community. She started her card making blog Kiwi Koncepts in 2015 as a way to document her crafting journey as she continues to learn and share what she makes. What started as just a place to relax and enjoy in some down time, soon became a reignited passion for arts and crafts. She also enjoys walks with her dog, watching movies and tv shows, exploring new restaurants, and trips to Disneyland!
Mindy Eggen
Mindy lives in Wisconsin with her supportive hubby, amazing two children and an energetic dog. She’s always had a passion for arts and crafts. Her daughter was born in 2006 and shares her love for crafting. It makes great bonding time for them. Her son was born in 2010 and they learned a year after that he is autistic. She started dabbling back into cardmaking in 2016 and hooked ever since. She adores her copic markers but she loves experimenting with other mediums. She tends to have a bold style to her cardmaking. If Mindy is not making cards, you’ll find her watching her all time favorite show Supernatural.
Natalia Zubkova
Natalia started scrapbooking when she became a mom. After making some albums, books and project life, she started making cards. This was not an accident, Natalia has always loved painting and coloring. Cardmaking is her dream come true. Her journey started with stamping, and then everything else just rolled in. She believes there is no limit to how to make a card, the whole process inspires her.
Rebecca Keppel
Rebecca started papercrafting in 2005 when her oldest was born. Her love of pretty paper and embellishments for scrapbooking led to the realization that she should use all the supplies she amassed to make the greeting cards she needed for birthdays and holidays. Cardmaking soon become her main crafty love. She loves a clean and simple style, bold and graphic images, bright rainbows of color and playfulness in her designs. When she is not crafting, she can be found hanging out with her two ginormous dogs, reading fiction, going to the gym, shuttling her two teenagers to school and sports and watching Netflix original series with her husband.
