Intro to Stitchable Borders
Hello Everyone! Nina here!
It's time for another new release! If you've been following us, you might have noticed that August is a special month for us. In 2018, we released Color Swatches; in 2019, we released Color Combos and in 2020, we are releasing the Stitchables!
Cross-stitch was my main hobby before cardmaking. I love how simple the supplies are so I can stitch almost anywhere; I love how many colorful threads there are to collect; I also love that we could follow a pattern and get a fairly good result every single time! The only problem I had was that I couldn't find a way to put all my stitched projects to good use.
This idea came when I fell in love with cross-stitch all over again back in January this year. Now I can stitch my heart out and turn them into cards!

Intro to Stitchable Borders
With all that being said, I started designing our Stitchables collection with these Stitchables Borders for beginners and cardmakers who are just looking to add some extra detail to their cards! These are great beginner sets because we took the "counting" out of the process!

Stitchable Squares, Circles and Hearts
These 3 dies are $14 each and follow the same formula:
1. A 4.25" wide border with 3 basic shapes.
You can use each on their own or use them all on 1 card.

You can simply fill the diecuts with little "X"s without worrying about following any pattern:

Or spice things up with a few "X"s stitched with specialty threads:

We will have this alphabet pattern that works with both the circles and the squares as a free download on August 5th!

2. A 5.5" wide border with small basic shapes.
These little dainty shapes are only 4 stitches tall. You can simply follow the diecut patterns, change up the colors or even have some fun with many border patterns available out there!

Each of these 5.5" borders have marks on the die base so you can center them at 4.25" wide too!

3. A tiny tag with a simple stitchable shape.
These tags are about 0.75"wide x 1" tall. They are exactly the same as those ones on the 5.5" border die.

You can use them to document your thread colors, strand counts and even stitching motifs.

Stitchable ZigZags Die
MSRP: $16; Set of 2 dies.
The ZigZags die are both 5.5" wide. Similar to the other borders, they have notches on the die base to help you center them for 4.25" borders.
Aren't these cute?! You can totally leave them as they are for a background!

Or stitch them up with many zigzag patterns available online!

That's it for today!
Hope to see you tomorrow for more Stitchables!!!
Love always,
Nina
