More Creative Ideas using April 2021 Release - Week 3

As promised here are the beautiful florals from this release.

Guest designer Michele has created a stunning card.  She did some watercoloring on her petals and leaves, but what makes this really cool is that she made kraft cardstock look like coconut grass. The soft, fading-out grey brick makes it seem like an arrangement you would find on an exterior wall.

Arjita's no-line watercoloring is so lovely.  The deep green frame really makes her florals glow.

If you don't feel like doing the no-line watercoloring you can use Michele's technique of embossing with white and then adding in some watercolors.  The neutral palette is so restful.  The subtle arch in the background gives it a little something extra.

Rachel shows us the beauty of white embossing on vellum.  The abstract watercolor background makes this floral feel very modern. I love all the room you get to play with on slimline cards.  This floral swag looks like it was made for slimline  cards.

Amanda gives us a colorful floral without coloring. This is a great technique if you need a quick one layer card or maybe don't like to color.  She has ink blended a background and then stamped her image in crisp black.  Then added some nuvo drops for a bit of embellishment.

The Simple Stems is a builder set, which gives loads of flexibility as to what you can create with it.

Pam as added some beautiful blue blossoms over her white on white panel dies background. A few blue pearl embellishments and a sentiment make this card done.

Rachel embossed with gold powder and then some light watercoloring on her florals.  She created a dimensional arrangement in her round window.  The scallop edge gives this card a feminine feel.

If you are looking for a breath of spring Jeanne delivers! This vibrant card is so cheery.  The florals are Copic colored and laid over the white on white panel dies background.

This color palette makes me crave key lime pie :)  The fresh greens feel so clean and crisp. I thought the use of the postage shaped layers was very clever.
