More Creative Ideas Using February 2021 Release - Week 2

The Lacy Layers Bundle contains 5 nesting die sets. They each have every other layer of scallop with pinpoint detailing or stitched edges.
Jeanne's card shows what using all the different layers will do. This beautiful card is so colorful and I like that she made a shaped card with the outer most oval layer. The gold glitter paper that she uses as a shadow on the word sentiment adds a touch of sparkle.

Here we see Rebecca using the Lacy Ovals die and Oversized Hope set as well, but what a difference color combination makes in the feel of a card. She added some enamel dots along the edge of her scalloped oval giving it some texture. Did you notice the ink blending technique she used on the Spring Leaves die cuts?

Here JJ used the Lacy Circles die to create an inlaid frame. The colorful Skinny Stripes die cuts really add some depth to the card. I think the vellum outline/halo around the letters is a great touch.

Wanda's petite square card is adorable! I love the vellum scalloped circle framing the focal image. Her paper piecing of the girl's shirt is such a cute idea.

Who doesn't love a rainbowy alcohol ink background? Galina's is stunning. I love her use of the vellum window and having the flower hang out of the frame. The clear dots give the illusion of the shiny paper being wet.
