Watercolor Block Stamping
Our design team member Elyse brings you a fun technique video using the Tombow Brush Pens today!
Elyse made a set of cards using the watercolor block stamping technique with the Tombow Dual Brush Pens. This is such a simple technique, all you need is an acrylic block, some water based markers like the Tombow Dual Brush Pens, and various stamp sets. This technique looks great with floral images. Take some markers, and color over an acrylic block. Any shape will work. Then, use a spray bottle and coat the block with water. Then, turn the block over onto a piece of watercolor paper, and put something heavy on top of the block, and let it sit for a few minutes while the color soaks in. Once dry, use white embossing powder to add your stamped image to the watercolored area.
