Five for Friday and a Heads-up
Happy Friday, everyone!
Today, I'm sharing 5 links to some awesome crafters I love and admire. Along with the Waffle Flower Crafts products, they shared tips and techniques that are fun and inspiring. Check them out!
Thanks Jennifer for her kind help from the very beginning of our little adventure! She used Two-tone Stamping Technique on her cards here! Be careful when you go there, you may end up digging treasure on her blog for days, if not weeks! Jennifer is one of the best demonstrators around and the inventor of many stamping techniques! When I run out of ideas or just want to try something new, I go to Jennifer's blog! I admire Jennifer's effort in helping this industry grow and keeping it healthy. Her Online Card Classes with friends are the best ones to attend!
Laura shared in a video how to make a cute monkey and a girl from simple punches and dies that you may already have! She made our Mailable 3D Bow so cute and fluffy! There is not a single thing that Laura can't make it work like a magic! Her cards are usually clean and simple with a big impression! Laura has been a "big name" in our stamping world ever since I was starting. Yet she embraced me with her kindness and sweet friendship. She's been cheering me along the way and I am so very happy for all of her achievements! The colorful clever creations of Laura's always make me happy!
JJ is one of my first blogging friends and we were on various teams together, which gave me the chance to look at her work from a different point of view. When I thought to myself: "There is nothing to be done with this set.", JJ turned around and presented chin-dropping cards with that very set! I'm sure it is easy to see that JJ is a genius? All you need to do is to go to her blog! Take the father's day card she made with our Hey Mr stamp set for example, who would've thought of that pegboard idea, let along to make it look so realistic? You can download the free cut file JJ prepared for you to make one or some of your own! JJ also designs stamps and dies that blow me away every time!
I don't remember exactly how I ended up at Lilypad Cards when I was looking for inspiration as a newbie. But I'm so glad I did. I fell in love with Vicky's card making videos there. She and Deborah were the hostesses to the card challenges and they were the first to feature me as a guest designer. It means so much to me. This time, Vicky didn't get to choose, I sent her our Rock My World stamp set. Do we have a word to describe how happily surprised even when knowing that you will be happily surprised? Check out Vicky's card and video here! One thing worth mention is that if you are grateful for InLinkz, Vicky and her husband Aris are the ones to say thank you to. I am so proud and happy to see how InLinkz has grown in the past few years. If you are looking for an easy way to link to our products in your post, you will find "Waffle Flower" in the InLinkz shop list!
And last but not least, I have to link to our Design Team page! The ladies have done an amazing job for our first release. They are on the team because I think they are more talented than me in many different ways. They make me feel so warm and fuzzy inside. If you click on their happy faces, you will be directed to the dedicated section of their Waffle Flower Crafts projects. Have fun and be inspired!
