DesignTeamHeadshots-LorenaCantoHello Waffle Flower friends! Lorena here with some pretties to get ready for the weekend. If there’s an art/craft that I find truly mesmerizing, that’s pottery. I could wander around a pottery shop or stare at a market stall for hours, marveled at the different details, finishes, and specially impressed that there’s no piece alike, every one is unique. Here’s a little selection of pieces that caught my eye lately.   I love the happy color combinations on this mugs. Who wouldn’t want to fill their craft room with such bright pieces? pottery 1

These are so cute and unique! Some of them remind me of the long critters from On My Mark stamp set. pottery 2

What about this beauty, isn’t it a showstopper? That shine!!! Oh, and it also reminds me of the big flower in Flower Circles stamp set. pottery 3

The organic feel is what made me fall in love with these pots. Perfection.

My last pick is so perfect for showcasing succulents! I like the natural tones, the color blocking and the subtle glaze. pottery 5

And speaking of glaze… I was inspired by all this pretty pottery and decided to make my own, but without getting any clay under my nails ;) And I even glazed it! Pottery card pic 1This birthday card would be perfect for a guy, too, and showcases some of the lovely pots from Planted stamp set. After stamping the pots, I heat embossed them with a few layers of UTEE (ultra thick embossing enamel). They truly resemble glazed pottery! Pottery card pic 2I finished the card with a sentiment from Shower stamp set, and grounded the pots with three strands of rustic twine.
