Geodesic Ornament - Paper Ball with Ball Knot

I was browsing Pinterest yesterday and found this super cool but easy to make 3D ornament tutorial

I like her trick on the scoring template:)

And I made this: (Took about 1.5 hours… for all the scoring and gluing, haha~)

I used decorative cords (or whatever it is called) instead of ribbons. The ball knot is made with this Clover template:) I am still learning~

UPDATE: I just found out that Sizzix has a die for this type of balls! The instructions PDF shows a simpler version like this:
