[Guest] Don’t Steal My Bananas! - Torico

Hi everyone! It’s Torico here. Today I’m sharing a fun slider card I made using the Willy & Friends stamp set. When you pull out the slider strip… OMG! Willy has stolen Claire’s bananas!! :) To create this card, I blended light pink, yellow, and light green inks on a white panel, then spritzed it with water. After it completely dried, I cut out a slider track with a craft knife and made a notch on the top edge of the panel using a small circle punch. Then I adhered the panel to a card base with foam tape. I cut a slider strip from a piece of inked card stock and drew a string on it with a black gel pen. All the images were colored with Copics. I did a lot of masking to create a pile of bananas! The sentiment, which is from the On My Mark stamp set, was white embossed on a dark brown panel. After I adhered the sentiment panel and the images (except a bunch of bananas) to the inked panel, I inserted the slider strip and adhered the bananas image to it with foam tape. Several sequins were added to finish off the card. Thank you for looking!
